Vintage 1971 Klein Buhrke 5228 linesman ironworker pole tree climbing tool belt
A very nice vintage padded 1971 Klein/Buhrke model 5228 linesman's/Ironworker's/tree topper's tool belt. This belt is in excellent condition especially considering how old it is. The leather is soft and pliable and the hardware is in excellent shape. It has double D-rings to attach a wall hook or tree/pole climbing strap and a pliers/dykes/keel tool holster bolted/riveted onto a sewn-in leather strap with 3 holes. The holster is not in as good of shape as the belt. The leather on it feels older and weaker but it would be easy to replace. Opposite the pliers holster is another sewn-in leather strap with 3 holes for attaching another holster or whatever. Lots of leather loops and 4 small D-rings for it looks like attaching suspenders. Vintage Klein Tools Canvas Bag, Belt Harness, Gear, & Buckingham Buck Stop
A great set of Klein Tools items. I should tell you first I'm not familiar with some of these things but I will do my best in describing to you what we have. First up is a tattered canvas bag from Klein with the number 5102-24, it has two leather ahndles and leather buckle straps to keep it shut. The bottom is also leather and has a small tear on the edge, all of the things that are"wrong" with it only add to the asthetic of the bag. There is a Klein harness/belt with a tag that reads"Klein Tools Inc. U.S.A. Model 5216 Size M Serial 267030 Date 5-85" It's a very strong and sturdy fabric, with a large metal ring that connects to a rope which has a clasp hook on either end. The harness attatches with belt type straps in the back. There is a Buckingham Buck-Stop, this is one that I'm not sure of its purpose. But ... moreit has the clips on either end connected by a long piece of strong nylon, it has a tag that has some information including"Length 6' Then there are the five metal pieces of which I don't even have a name for you.
