And looks to my untrained eye as though it may never have been used. The gauge reads from 0 to 100. On the face of the gauge is writing reading MR13S100DCUAR ROLLER-SMITH BETHLEHEM. PA At the far left of the face of the gauge is very small writing. This writing is difficult to see due to its size and location. And even more difficult to photograph. However. The glass is cracked. But the meter movement is good and the zero-adjust also works. Roller-Smith Panel Meter type DD. Current from 1-100mA. MR25W156SPEC is the model. 2-3/16" cutout 2-11/16" bezel This would be good for setting tube bias. The meter is made of bakelite. And weighs 7 ounces. I don't have a current source(one that is regulated) So I used my LCR meter to make rudimentary readings: inductance is.89mH including the 6" long test leads(the meter doesn't have a provision for zeroing out the leads) resistance is 98.2 ohms total(meter face says 100 ohms. Vintage Roller-Smith Co. DC Volt Meter in wooden case with original wire test leads. Manufactured in Bethlehem. PA with serial no. 10. This is a DC volt meter which are much rarer than the AC meters. This came from the estate of a former radio, television, electronics repair person. Wooden case/box shows signs of wear with scratching from its age/use. The leather handle which attached to the side is missing but the metal clips which held the handle are there. This would make a great addition to a collection.
