Old Original Chevrolet Chevy Radiator Moto Meter Gauge Hit Miss Gas Engine NICE!
This is a really nice original Chevrolet Moto Meter. It was made by the Moto Meter Company in Long Island City. New York. It measures about 2 1/4 inches in diameter and is about 4 1/4 inches tall overall. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, break, or repairs of any kind. There is some very minor nickel loss on the shell and some very light scratches and chips on the glass but overall it is a true survivor. It still works just as it should. The colors inside are still bright and vibrant and this meter is ready to be used on a nice original car or truck. These original moto meters are getting tougher to find in the wild or even at swap meets every day! The pictures really tell the story. It will likely be a long time before a nicer one turns up. RARE VIN"TAGE HUGE BUFFALO METER COMPANY 11 1/2" DIAL WATER OR GAS METER GAUGE
For auction is the biggest meter/ gauge Ive ever owned. This is a huge gas or water meter made by the Buffalo Meter Company. Buffalo NY. The tag has the number 2738309 on it as seen in photo 9. The dial has numbers from 0 to 190 on the large 11 1/4 inch diameter face. The face is model number 1050-A. The glass over the face is in good used shape with normal wear. The upper half of this piece is some kind of metal, probably cast aluminum, and the whole thing is painted a gold color. I think the whole bottom rounded section is brass, I believe. I tested the whole thing with a magnet and the only parts that stuck were the nuts on the base. The entire piece weighs 71 pounds. The paint shows wear from use and age. The face is dirty and could use to be cleaned, along with the brass base. The openings on the base are about 2 inches diameter, that's ... morenot the size of the threaded end, just the opening. The piece measures 20 1/2 inches tall. The base measures 15 1/2 inches wide from end to end of the pipe fittings, and the base is about 13 inches deep. This is a super cool display piece for the industrial, mining, or steampunk collector. Shipping will be quite high due to the weight and size, if it comes to less I will refund the difference. For Sale is a 1932 Eco Air Meter Model 15. The Model 15 was introduced in 1932 when the Company moved to Pennsylvania. By 1933 they embossed SS on the front of the Meters. This Meter has the Conshohken. Pennsylvania address, but NO SS on the front. Dating this Model as 1932 to early 1933 ONLY! HOW RARE IS THAT! IT WORKS GREAT. And is just how I bought it from an elderly gentleman at a Swap Meet. You set the pressure you want on the gauge and the meter makes a clicking noise. And when the clicking stops. It has reached the set pressure. This unit is before they invented the bells. Look at the inside and you can see how nice all the mechanism is and the original hose which was cut off where it exited the unit. I put a nipple into the old hose with a hose clamp to a line with a tire air fitting to test the meter. This particular meter features an interior light as well as an"AIR" globe on the top that lights up as well. Scratches, and chips here and there but really overall this thing is beautiful. This meter could use a good cleaning in some areas. Offered for your consideration is this Vintage Miller Parking Meter Lamp. This meter appears to have been restored and operates perfectly. The really neat part about this meter is that you need to insert a penny to get the lamp to light. It then will work as long as the timer says. When time runs out the light will turn off. You can also turn it off by the switch if you are leaving the room as well. This meter is gold in color and is in an art deco design. It has a really nice base that is constructed of metal that you just do not see on meters that are listed on ebay. I believe it was a really good custom restoration with only the finest materials as it appears to flow well with the parking meter itself. It actually looks like this is the way the meter is supposed to be. It measure approximately 29 3/4" with the lighting bracket and ... more17 1/2" without with the base measuring 8" wide. It is in really good condition. Like I said I believe it has been restored. The paint does exhibit a few scratches here and there.
