Offered is a vintage large BUCKINGHAM TREE. POLE, UTILITY CLIMBING BELT. The belt measures about 71" long with the clips(about 57" of belt) and 1 5/8" wide. The condition is used, has some wear on the edges of the belt, is marked BUCKINGHAM D-99& 6 99, the clips are firmly attached and the locking mechanism works well, and there is a small dent in one of the steel clip holders. Buckingham lineman climbing body belt utility pole climbing gear
Here is an old Buckingham body belt from 1979. I got this belt from my boss when I started on as a grunt but have since upgraded to a nicer belt. This belt has seen a lot of poles and a lot of miles but still has a lot of service in it yet. Great low cost belt if you are just getting into the industry. As you can see in the photos, one tool loop has a tear, the loop which holds down the loose end of the strap is gone, and it doesn't have a bug bag. The inner strap holding the D rings is in fine condition, as is the main strap. I have probably been up at least 80 or 90 poles with this belt. You can't see much on the name plate, other than 22-40. It is for a size 40 waist and the size is D22. The lining is a little creased but is not coming apart. I'm selling this with no reserve, and ship internationally.

Up for auction here are is one(1) Vintage MILLERS FALLS 9/16" dia. screw-tip 14" long auger bit in very good condition. This bit has a round shank. Not the square-tang, as for a hand brace. Although it probably would still fit a brace, it would be harder to pull out or extract from a deep hole. The"tang" aids in this action by locking the bit into the brace. The shank has"FORD P.T. stamped on it. Was it made for one of the old Ford production lines? Photos show that tip screw and cutting edge are still in very good shape. Auger turns true. Is not bent. Vintage Geo. Lawrence pole climber`s utility belt up for your consideration. This is a heavy duty belt weighing over 5 lbs and a waistband 7' wide. It looks to have copper rivets although I`m not sure of that and the leather is actually in good condition but could stand a conditioning to soften it up. The gaffs are replaceable if you decide to change them to tree gaffs. This set up originally cost me over $500.00. These are Titanium and are said to be lighter than Aluminum and stronger than steel. I personally can only speak for their weight as I have never broken a climber. The pads are Bashlin simply because I wanted the best I could find. I did not use them much at all.
