Hello, this auction is for a Buckingham climbing belt. Size 21, Model 20003M, brown leather. The belt is in perfect condition(please see pictures) There are no tears, holes or rips anywhere on the belt, the leather is in a great shape, and all buckles work well. There are just a few minor scuffs(please see pictures) My husband will not use this belt any more, as he has to wear the belt the company he works for gave him. The body belt section of the model 20003 is connected using the 2000M body belt and has the added feature of an attached backsaver. Extra width provides support to the back to help relieve strain. Buckingham lineman climbing body belt utility pole climbing gear
Here is an old Buckingham body belt from 1979. I got this belt from my boss when I started on as a grunt but have since upgraded to a nicer belt. This belt has seen a lot of poles and a lot of miles but still has a lot of service in it yet. Great low cost belt if you are just getting into the industry. As you can see in the photos, one tool loop has a tear, the loop which holds down the loose end of the strap is gone, and it doesn't have a bug bag. The inner strap holding the D rings is in fine condition, as is the main strap. I have probably been up at least 80 or 90 poles with this belt. You can't see much on the name plate, other than 22-40. It is for a size 40 waist and the size is D22. The lining is a little creased but is not coming apart. I'm selling this with no reserve, and ship internationally.

From the original owner, who worked for the Bell Telephone system as a lineman in the late 1970’s to the late 1990’s, exact age is unknown. This is a pair of Pole/ tree climbers. Made by the Buckingham Manufacturing Company, not sure of age, but believe with the date code of 4-75 they were from the April 1975 era. The climbers are stamped on the main beam Buckingham BELL SYSTEM F. BUCKINGHAM 4-75, WE91171. in beam side is SHORT 14 3/4– 18 1/2 The top slide is adjustable. The gaffs are permanent CCA pole type and are 1 3/4”long. The shank is the contoured type. The top pads. Are stamped A.E. BURGESS LEA CO. 3-84. By the date I would assumed the pads were changed in 1984. The climbers have ... morebeen lightly cleaned. And the leather treated with leather oil.
