The belt is in perfect condition(please see pictures) There are no tears, holes or rips anywhere on the belt, the leather is in a great shape, and all buckles work well. There are just a few minor scuffs(please see pictures) My husband will not use this belt any more, as he has to wear the belt the company he works for gave him. The body belt section of the model 20003 is connected using the 2000M body belt and has the added feature of an attached backsaver. Extra width provides support to the back to help relieve strain. This auction is for a pair of W.H. Buckingham. Mfg Co. Binghamton, NY tree climbing spikes with belt and climbing rope. Spikes are marked with maker along with" LC-5 15 IN 425-Phila 45-55" Leather straps attached to them are in fair aged and used condition with waring to them. Straps are marked with Buckingham. Only tearing I can see is slight to the buckle holes. More like leather cracking or seperating. Belt is in fair condition with no tears to it or fraying. It has 2 metal loops which the climbing rope attaches to. They are in fair shape with sign of use but no cracks. Climbing rope is in fair used condition with little fraying. more like rope being scuffed slightly. Clips on rope are in fair condition and clip properly with clip springs tight. Main belt is 44" and belt sinching strap is 52" Spikes themselves are approx ... more2" long. Rope including clips is 62" I am not an expert on this, so what you see is what you get. I have for auction this large group of used linesman climbing gaffs and belts and other electrical climbing equipment. The Gaffs are marked buckingham. They are Catalog model 9227 they are good and solid and the point is sharp. the points have been protected. the previous owner has the spring action point caps. There are two belts. One is marked klein burke and the second belt is unmarked there is a climbing rope and other items I don't have a clue of their functions. If I had to rate the leather I would say the leather is average minus condition. the straps are canvas, so I know they are in good used condition. The leather will need to be cleaned and tung oiled. the klein bag is in good used condition. it is stained, but has no tears. the other bag has a little tear by one of the hang hooks. VINTAGE BUCKINGHAM CLIMBING TREE POLE BELT SAFETY BELT SIZE 22 P/N ER USED
Offered is a vintage BUCKINGHAM TREE. POLE, UTILITY CLIMBING BELT. The belt measures about 42" long to the end hole and 34" to the tightest hole; there are nine holes each an inch apart; however, I wear a 38" belt, and this belt is tight on me probably because of the very thick leather. The condition is used but quite good and has some wear on the edges of the belt. It is marked on a green metal tag with BUCKINGHAM Size 22, Date 897, P/N ER. Also included is a heavy canvas bag 8" x 9" x 2" with straps for fastening to the belt and an outside pocket. This bag is cotton, made in India, and is reinforced at the bottom with a suede type leather. This belt is a very usable safety belt, sold as is, and MADE IN THE U.S.A. This auction is for an older pair of Buckingham lineman/ logging/ pole climbing gear. Auction includes spurs with pads. Climbing gaffs, leather waist belt/ utility belt and a regular looking leather waist belt(what you see in the picture, is what you get. The regular looking belt measures approx. 38 1/2" long. The utility looking belt measures approx. 46 1/2" it says 40 on it) The spurs with pads are adjustable and say Buckingham Mfg. Co. Pat. No. 9203 039 Binghamton. New York. The leather appears to be in good condition and seems to be well oiled. Some of the leather is cracked in certain spots. All sales are final so please ask any questions before bidding. Buckingham lineman climbing body belt utility pole climbing gear
Here is an old Buckingham body belt from 1979. I got this belt from my boss when I started on as a grunt but have since upgraded to a nicer belt. This belt has seen a lot of poles and a lot of miles but still has a lot of service in it yet. Great low cost belt if you are just getting into the industry. As you can see in the photos, one tool loop has a tear, the loop which holds down the loose end of the strap is gone, and it doesn't have a bug bag. The inner strap holding the D rings is in fine condition, as is the main strap. I have probably been up at least 80 or 90 poles with this belt. You can't see much on the name plate, other than 22-40. It is for a size 40 waist and the size is D22. The lining is a little creased but is not coming apart. I'm selling this with no reserve, and ship internationally.

I do see some surface rust but easy to remove and not bad at all. Just light surface rust. My husband used these when working for the phone company.Good quality and good shape. I believe these are adjustable. Everything works and is in great shape. I do not know much about this stuff so please look at pictures. Up for sale today we have a nice set of Buckingham 1379 Climbing Belt& 2) Buckingham 3120- 9142 Spikes. This set is in very good condition and the current model. BUCKINGHAM 1379 SADDLE Floating dee ring. Double thick cotton webbing reinforced w 1 3/4" nylon on back and seat sections, leather lined 1 3/4" grommeted leg straps, 1 3/4" steel ring and accessory snap on each side. The 3120 Rivet-less pad with a built in tunnel design. A soft leather is used against the leg. All leather construction with 3/4" padding. The original Buckingham tree climber is now available with a ring for strap attachment. The Permanent Gaff is 3 1/2 inches(89mm) long. Stirrup is standard width unless specified otherwise.
