VINTAGE BUCKINGHAM CLIMBING TREE POLE UTILITY BELT SAFETY BELT D-99 USED
Offered is a vintage large BUCKINGHAM TREE. POLE, UTILITY CLIMBING BELT. The belt measures about 71" long with the clips(about 57" of belt) and 1 5/8" wide. The condition is used, has some wear on the edges of the belt, is marked BUCKINGHAM D-99& 6 99, the clips are firmly attached and the locking mechanism works well, and there is a small dent in one of the steel clip holders. Vintage 1971 Klein Buhrke 5228 linesman ironworker pole tree climbing tool belt
A very nice vintage padded 1971 Klein/Buhrke model 5228 linesman's/Ironworker's/tree topper's tool belt. This belt is in excellent condition especially considering how old it is. The leather is soft and pliable and the hardware is in excellent shape. It has double D-rings to attach a wall hook or tree/pole climbing strap and a pliers/dykes/keel tool holster bolted/riveted onto a sewn-in leather strap with 3 holes. The holster is not in as good of shape as the belt. The leather on it feels older and weaker but it would be easy to replace. Opposite the pliers holster is another sewn-in leather strap with 3 holes for attaching another holster or whatever. Lots of leather loops and 4 small D-rings for it looks like attaching suspenders. VINTAGE BUCKINGHAM CLIMBING TREE POLE BELT SAFETY BELT SIZE 22 P/N ER USED
Offered is a vintage BUCKINGHAM TREE. POLE, UTILITY CLIMBING BELT. The belt measures about 42" long to the end hole and 34" to the tightest hole; there are nine holes each an inch apart; however, I wear a 38" belt, and this belt is tight on me probably because of the very thick leather. The condition is used but quite good and has some wear on the edges of the belt. It is marked on a green metal tag with BUCKINGHAM Size 22, Date 897, P/N ER. Also included is a heavy canvas bag 8" x 9" x 2" with straps for fastening to the belt and an outside pocket. This bag is cotton, made in India, and is reinforced at the bottom with a suede type leather. This belt is a very usable safety belt, sold as is, and MADE IN THE U.S.A. This is an old pair of Klein& Sons tree climbing spikes(as identified by the long spikes) with calf pad& strap and belt. The belt does have a broken leather strap that was for something(in the main picture. It is the strap on the left between the belt and the spike) Auction includes all parts shown. The spikes have a stamped model number of 1907. True made it the USA quality. The leather is old, probably not in good enough shape for actual climbing. If you have any questions, please ask.

Buckingham lineman climbing body belt utility pole climbing gear
Here is an old Buckingham body belt from 1979. I got this belt from my boss when I started on as a grunt but have since upgraded to a nicer belt. This belt has seen a lot of poles and a lot of miles but still has a lot of service in it yet. Great low cost belt if you are just getting into the industry. As you can see in the photos, one tool loop has a tear, the loop which holds down the loose end of the strap is gone, and it doesn't have a bug bag. The inner strap holding the D rings is in fine condition, as is the main strap. I have probably been up at least 80 or 90 poles with this belt. You can't see much on the name plate, other than 22-40. It is for a size 40 waist and the size is D22. The lining is a little creased but is not coming apart. I'm selling this with no reserve, and ship internationally.

The big heavy belt is marked"SIZE" D 28 and is made by Bashlin. The spikes are made by Klein and the RED belt is made by Rose mfg. I put the big belt on and it went to the 4th hole from the end. Upon close inspection I see they are made by different makers, but they are essentially the same, and are the same size. One is made by W.H. Klein Buhrke Lineman Tree Pole Climbing Belt 5268 & Strap 5295 IOB
Up for Auction is this Klein Buhrke Lineman Belt& Strap with their original boxes. Both pieces are used and dated 10-1972 and are in great condition. Belt Model is 5268N and is marked size 18. It also has a tool holder marked 5112. The only flaw I see on belt is a small rivet popped on a clip for holding an extra tool(shown in last picture) which does not affect the structural integrity of the belt. Leather is in great condition. Strap Model is KL-5295 and is in great condition, appears to have some white spots on it(probably paint) Both items have been stored in their original boxes. This belonged to a relative and he only used this around his home once or twice. The part of the belt that looks like leather is made out of a special material that is riveted together. The belt notches are 2" apart ~ there are 5 notches. I am a size 36" waist and this fits me on the 2nd notch in from the end.
