The function buttons are in good condition as well as the inputs and outputs. Please refer to the photos below for more details on the item. This item was plugged in and powered on with no problems. We were able to use all the function buttons without any issues. We connected a volt meter to the outputs of the item and we were able to test the voltage multiple times up to 500V. Our volt meter only reads to a max 500V. Every voltage we tested was almost correct. The display would always state 2 to 3 volts lower then our meter read. We believe this is because the item needs to be calibrated. Since we are unable to test the complete functionality of the item we are required to sell this item as is. Thank You. Up for auction is the following item: 1 Pharmacia LBK- EPS 500/400 power supply. Used, in good condition. Comes with the unit and the power cord. Cosmetically, it's a 9/10, with no real signs of wear or tear. Electronically, it behaves just like it should. The knobs move smoothly though their entire range, all buttons click and change settings, etc. I can' check the actual high voltage output, as these apparently have safety feature that prevents power from being put to the terminals unless there's a very certain resistance across the terminals, and I don't have that resistance. I acquired this unit thinking I could use it as a high-voltage power supply for my workbench, but with that safety feature, it kind of kills that idea. Being that everything works as it should, I assume the HV output works, too. If you know how to ... moredefeat the safety, you'd have a great 500V, 400ma power supply. Or, I suppose, you could use it for what it's intended for. Shipping is actual via USPS or whatever I can find cheaper. I'm just a person who sells on eBay.
