Fender Acoustasonic SFX 1 I have had this amp it for about 6 years. My kids have all moved out of the house and I am downsizing. So this big baby has to go. It has not been gigged and has only been used in my home.The amp is in excellent cosmetic and working condition. There is some minor tarnishing on the handle caps and some brown marks on the side of the amp. The marks do not penetrate the skin of the amp. I have done my best to attempt to show these conditions in my pictures. The tolex is in perfect condition, no tears. These are very cool sounding amps, because the bottom speaker faces at a 90 degree angle from the top speaker and creates kind of surround sound from the amp. Here is a vintage late 60s/early 70s Kustom amplifier head. Model K200B-1, in the famous, ultra-cool black tuck-n-roll(roll and pleat) cabinet. The amp is complete and intact. Has all knobs, glass jewel pilot light cover, original power cord. The face is a little dirty, but looks good. Black tuck-n-roll cabinet is in very good shape, showing only light wear, and no visible rips or tears, only a small cigarette burn on top, as seen in the photos. The photos should tell the condition very well. The amp powers on, pilot light lights up, but the amp hums. I connected it to an 8-ohm cabinet to test it, but when it hummed upon powering it on, I simply shut it off. Therefore, it should be considered in non-working condition, although it may be an easy fix to correct the hum. When working, it provides 100 watts of pure old-school power! 70s Kustom 250-1 Bass or Gtr Amp Head Big. Loud, UGLY and CHEAP This is a 1970s Kustom Model 250. Sold originally as a Bass amp but also works for guitar. No, I don't have the original speaker cabinet but if you look hard you can usually find one for sale(I think the original cab had two 15" speakers) You can see that the bottom of the tuck-and-roll upholstery is pretty beat up/torn/missing in some places with some black electrical tape holding it down. Too bad because the rest of the covering looks pretty good although there may be some small scuffs or tears I didn't notice. The amp works, but some pots are scratchy and I didn't take it apart to spray those out so that needs attending to. I have not had the chassis out of the cabinet since it's working and I didn't want to disturb anything. Faceplate is worn but ... morenot cracked and there is one replaced knob(the Selectone one) which doesn't match the rest but does the job. This is heavy, weighing in at around 40 lbs(before shipping) as they used thicker plywood than any maker I've ever seen. This has a 4 ohm output(only, no other ohm options) also has a"tape output" that I didn't test, and a"module input" that I also didn't try but I did hook it up to a cabinet and it sounded good. Original two-prong cord; I know some people like to change those out for a grounded one but that's up to the next owner. This amp doesn't have a handle and I'm surprised, considering how heavy it is. These amps had a good reputation when they came out, especially for their durability,and you can learn a lot about them on the web. This auction features a 1980's Pearce G1. Combo amplifier in the optional oak cabinet. The amp was manufactured by Pearce Electronics in Buffalo, NY in the mid 1980's. The Pearce G1 features 2 channels, channel blending and switching, reverb for both channels, master compressor/limiter, effects loops for both channels, 12" EV Force speaker. A custom made channel switching foot switch and cable is included with the amp. The amp puts out 110 watts into 4 ohms. Around 80 watts into a 8 ohm load. This amp is in very good working and physical condition. It's a very good sounding amp with lots of power to cover any gig. I think it gets a great rock tone and has enough low end punch to do metal. Up for sale is One(1) Vintage Jensen C15-NF speaker. Made in 1966. There are Two(2) Available and they match. These are original Jensen drivers. With a smooth cone for increased Bass response and are an ideal replacement for many vintage amps, including the Fender Pro Tweed, Ampeg Gemini and more. These came out of a 1960s Magnavox console: both pass a click test and both give a DC Voice COil Resistance of 4.8 Ohms on my Fluke DMM. Both speakers have the same codes: C15-NF C8197. 906084-1, 220640- indicating that they were made by Jensen in the 40th week of 1966. Both are in excellent condition. With no damage to the cones. The only negative is that the gasket has lifted in one place on the second speaker. The first buyer will get the first speaker. LESLIE 147 Amp - with Switchable 1/4" Jack!
Great sounding 147 amp with nearly new tubes. This was my spare so there's little mileage on the tubes and unit. Previous owner installed a 1/4" jack and mini-switch. This DOES NOT change the stock 147 operation or sound in any way! I don't know if the idea was- on/off line in. Line in/line out, or speaker out- but all sound interesting. I never actually tried it so I don't know how, or if it works. In any case the mounted 1/4" jack and switch are a good start. Even if you are a diehard 122 guy. Have you ever used a 122& 147 together! Clean, raunchy, tight looseness with a wash of instant and delayed chorale/tremolo. Stunning 1 owner DANELECTRO DM 25 Piggy Back TUBE Amp in Excellent Condition
Here we have a stunning Time capsule type find A SUPER CLEAN 1965 Danelectro DM25 tube guitar amplifier. All original except for the footswitch which was lost in the mid 1980's. any two button switch should work fine and all functions operate fine without the switch. This is a piggy back style amp(head and cabinet) The head can be stored in the back bottom of the cabinet for easy transport. There are 2 channels. Channel one has volume. Treble and bass controls, The second channel has Volume, treble, bass, reverb, vibrato strength and vibrato speed controls. All function super quite The reverb is rich and spacey and the vibrato(really a tremolo sound) is classic 60's surf. You can even get a Leslie rotating speaker type of effect by turning the vibrato speed all the way up. The amp is a one owner piece which has been lovingly boxed ... morein storage since the mid 80's The chrome face plate looks incredible along with the original graphics. These normally have bad pitting and a rash of rust making this clean beauty even more rare. Tolex and grill cloth are also in incredibly well preserved condition thanks to the proper storage from the previous loving owner Most importantly The amp sounds incredible Addition. I have been flooded with comments and questions and I thank you all for your interest. In regards to the front panel shots It is a white box reflecting in the pictures seen in the first front panel shots not a crease or discoloration. I will be adding additional photos. Also the speaker is original but not the jensen c12. You can google this amp and find info pertaining to the other speakers used during this period. This is blue vinyl and shot more of a grey color for some reason. If you wanted a general cleaning would have this looking marvelous as nothing has been done to the amp as of yet. Sears Silvertone 1482 tube amp. Amp is in working condition. Pots are a little scratchy, should clear up as you play it. Has two Silvertone 6v6 power tubes, one 6au6 Silvertone tube in the Tremolo, 2 12ax7 tubes in the Preamp section Sovtek, and a GE 6x4 Rectifier Tube. Yes it is tube rectified. And very loud. Amp is loud and breaks up very well. There is a Black Box installed that allows you to run another Cabinet or Speaker from the Silvertone. You just unplug the Speaker in the Silvertone and plug in your extension Cabinet and you are playing through another speaker cabinet.I have done it with my Fender half stack and it sounds really cool. Any Cabinet 8 ohms of above is fine. You should not run this amp any lower than 8 ohms. The Output Transformer has been replaced at some point in this amps life as has the Power Cord and Fuse holder. ... moreI can also see that a couple of filter caps were changed at one point as well. Not long ago from the looks of it. The Speaker is not original. It is a Hepner 1968 25 watt Gibson Supersonic Speaker. I have put a couple of pic's of it. It is a Great match for this amp. Hand made cone. Made around the same era. There is no Grommet holding the power cord to the chassis but the hole is pretty snug. Not a big deal really. Just trying to describe this fully. There is a small Quarter size nick in the Tolex. See pic's. I have played through this amp several hours. The scratchy pots are my only complaint. And have cleared up for the most part. Power Tubes seem strong. It is very cool. Has a unique sound all it's own. I can't say it's like a Fender or a Marshall. Like I say a sound all it's own. Very loud for a 6v6 amp. Tremolo works great, turns off and on with a single button footswitch. Footswitch not included! I have seen non-working Silvertone 1482's go for 250.00 + Delivery. A Vintage Guild Thunder 1 Late 60's Tube Guitar Amp These Were Guilds Flagship Amplifiers In The 60's I Heard The Factory Where They Built These Was Just Down The Street From Ampeg So Who Knows They May Have Used Some Ampeg Parts or Chassis In Them I am Not Sure This Thing Looks Great Considering Its Age The Tolex Looks Pretty Good. The Chassis and Body of The Amp Look Pretty Good and Does Not Show The Kind of Age You Would Expect From Something From This Era That Is Almost 50 Years Old You Look At The Photos and Judge For Yourself It Even Has Its Original Amp Cover With It The Vinyl or Whatever Amp Cover However Does Look Somewhat Aged and There Is a Smell of Moisture and Mildew On It Probably From Being Stored All These Years But It Seemed To Protect It Well. but the amp may have been stored in a basement from ... morethe way it seems as there is some slight signs of a damp environment such as slight discolorations or rusty screws. The Tone and Nice Tube Warmth Sounded So Sweet. When He Kicked In The Tremolo I Though I Was Back In The 60's At A Credence Concert. He Played Through Both The Clean and The High Gain Channel. They Both Sounded Good. The High Gain Channel Has Some Good Grit To It and I only Noticed a Little Bit of Noise at Times When He Really Cranked It. It is really nice to hear an electric guitar through and amp of this vintage. Unfortunately I Have To Sell It To Pay My Rent. Traynor Bassmaster YBA-1 1978 50 Watt Vintage Tube Guitar Amp Head, Plexi JTM45
This is a 1978 Traynor Bassmaster. Which is a circuit very similar to a JTM45/Tweed Bassman, with a few minor changes. It just got back from the shop, with the pots and tube sockets cleaned, and the tubes checked. It has a master volume, three prong plug and, 2 channels that can be jumpered. The picture doesn't show a handle on it, but I put one on. It is a very good amp, and the only reason I'm selling it is that I play jazz 90% of the time, and this amp doesn't excel at that. It is very loud, and sounds great from clean, to all out distorted, and everywhere in between. There are some minor chips in the faceplate, and the Traynor tag on the front is missing a small piece, but besides that, it's about as good as a 35 year old amp can be.
