Product Description Fisher Biotech FB 400 electrophoresis power source This power source has three gages. One for volts(0-200 and 0-1000) one for watts(0-20 and 0-200) and one for milliamps(0-40 and 0-200) each with a switch for setting which of the two scales is used. There's also two knobs, one for setting constant voltage, power or current and one for min/max adjustment. Below is a watt meter zero trim and a start button. On the back is a stand by on/off switch. There are two pairs of DC power connectors. How the unit was tested: When the unit was plugged in. Turned on, and the"start" button pressed, a large electrical arc occurred inside the unit(visible through the grille on the back) and some smoke was produced.
