ABN American BioNuclear EPS-250 Electrophoresis Power Supply, Tested, 300 Volts!
ABN American BioNuclear EPS-250 Electrophoresis Power Supply For sale- an ABN American BioNuclear EPS-250 Electrophoresis Power Supply. Other than the color this looks basically identical to the Pharmacia EPS-250. So I guess it is possible it was made by Pharmacia and rebadged ABN. But if I had to guess I would say a third party power supply manufacturer like E-C probably built them for whoever wanted to buy enough to do a different production run with their name on it. I assume that the 250 would designate it a 250 volt PS. But this one cranks up and indicates 312 volts and the measured output as you can see on my VOM(not included) is almost 302VDC. It has not been tested under load. When I first got this it would not power up. When I checked the fuse it wasn’t the right size, much too small. I think I put a standard 2A fuse in to test it ... moreand it seems to work fine. But I don’t know what the correct fuse value should be so it may well pop the fuse the first time you use it if in fact it should be a higher value or a slow blow or both. Untested other than as described. Sold as is, and NO warranty is offered. However. IF you pay the asking price and find it has a problem you cannot live with within 14 days of receipt you may return it. Returns are ONLY allowed on Buy It Now Purchases.
