But is a bit noisy when you first turn it on. Pretty quickly it settles down and seems OK. I pulled the cover off to see if there was any visible reason for the noise. Not much there other than the big transformer. There is a fluorescent lamp start capacitor as you can see. If I had to blame the noise on something it would be that. Untested other than as described and NO warranty is offered. However. IF you pay the asking price and find it has a problem you cannot live with within 14 days of receipt you may return it.
