This does not appear to effect the functionality. Due to our limited working knowledge and/or lack of additional equipment for this item no further testing was performed. The autotransformer has been maintained in good working and cosmetic condition. The autotransformer will not come supplied with an Operator's Manual. However. With only a Power On/Off switch and a continuously variable voltage selection dial, operation is entirely intuitive. The power On/Off selection allows for selection between two voltage output ranges: 0- 120 VAC and 0- 140 VAC. Output is smooth across both ranges. The large voltage selection dial is graduated from 0- 100. And not in actual voltage output. Thus, turning the dial to 100 on the scale can mean an output of either 120 vac RO 140 VAC depending on which range is selected.
