I purchased them at a garage sale from a ol' timer during a recent road trip to the Gold Country. Lake Tahoe Basin near Truckee, CA. The guy I bought them from was quite a character. he couldn't actually remember how long or where he got the Spikes but said they'd been around for a loooooooong time sitting outside in the weather. I couldn't leave them behind and just had to rescue them and now I'm looking for someone who would like to have some old Gold Country History hanging on their wall. No telling how many trees were fallen in the Tahoe area by a person wearing these. if they could only talk! They make a great conversation piece. ... moreI priced them very fairly so they can find a new home soon. I'm not sure of the model number of exactly how to size them. as they sit they measure 17" top to bottom. Without the extenders that slide on the shaft(these don't slide they are rusted) the shaft top to bottom is 14" if that helps to determine the model? The straps appear to be of heavy canvas.
