Klein Pole Climbers with Bashlin Pads Utility Pole ClimbIng Gear
This is a nice set of Klein Climbers. The gaffs are 1 1/2 inches and in good condition with only one significant nick. Both leather ankle straps have a lot of life left in them. There are some cracks in the top grain of the leather on one strap. The buckles will certainly outlast the leather. The climber shafts are slightly bowed so the top sleeve won't adjust all the way in. They are adjustable from 15 3/4 to 19 1/2 inches as measured from the bottom of the stirrup to the top of the sleeve. I'm not sure I would stretch them out that far though. They aren't twisted at all. The pads are Bashlin 140-DS with padding. The stitching is still good. Some thread ends have pulled out and there is that scuff I mentioned in the condition description on the inside of the one pad. All in all. These climbers are in real good shape and will ... moregive many more years of safe, reliable service. LINEMAN'S POLE / TREE CLIMBING GEAR - BELT, LANYARD, GAFFS/SPIKES
Linesman's Pole/Tree climbing equipment. It has had a lot of use. But is very heavy duty and has lots of life left. The wide padded belt has a Stringer name plate and a date of 1/77. The size I believe adjusts out to a 42/44. I am a 36/38 and there are four holes remaining. Belt has a leather pliers pouch attached and four attached leather loops for tools/equipment. Also there are four removable leather loops which snap to small metal rings on the belt. The lanyard is Buckingham and a date of 1988. Adjusts from 4 to 6-1/2 feet. Very heavy duty and metal re-enforced. The gaffs are Bashlin. No Reserve Thanks
