This is a vintage 1951 Buckingham lineman pole climbing belt& safety strap. The safety strap is about 2" wide& 6' long& stamped 7-51. The brass rivets have some green on them. The belt is about 4" wide at the back with 3 leather loops& 1 brass square loop& stamped 10-51. The pouch has 3 tool pockets but is a little on the dry side, also on the belt is a tape holder& a thin leather strip with a adjustable loop on the end. It measures about 40" fron the outside edge of the buckle to the last hole on the tongue with 7 more hole going in to about 33" The leather seems good& not dried out but could use a good saddle soaping. This came from an estate sale.

Buckingham Tree Pole Lineman Climbing Belt and Bashlin Lanyard
This is a Buckingham climbing belt and a Bashlin Industries Lanyard. The belt is a size 28. I do not know what the size chart is for the sizing. I have a size 33 waist and this belt is too big for me in the smallest hole by a couple of inches. I would guess it a 35-36 up to a 43-44 waist size. It is dated 11/98 and it is in excellent condition. The lanyard is a Bashlin. It is made of two very heavy leather straps sewn together with what looks like may be a nylon material between the leather straps. It has the numbers 78-C on it. It is adjustable from 4 foot to 6 foot. I would rate it in good condition for it's age as well. Because of the nature of these items they are being sold"as is" no warranty is expressed or implied. I'm parting out an old Bell Systems Tool Bag that I came across. The leather tool belt is solid and flexible. The copper rivets have green tarnish. I cleaned a few of them. It is dated 1963. The Pole/Tree Climbing Strap is solid and flexible& the hooks work properly. It clamps right onto the tool belt. The belt stamped Klein Kord on it and the metal is dated 1973. The buckles and clasps are forged steel or aluminum. The rivets and tags on the belt are copper and steel. Very well made to have lasted this long.

Neetsfoot oil or other good shoe oil would make them a lot nicer. Old vintage equipment that I am sure was fine when it was retired. But I would not sell it for use and consider it a collector's item only out of safety concerns. I would have loved to had this setup when I was a kid!

Lineman Climbing Tools Miller Belt, Bashlin Pole Climbers & Klein Tool Bag
Up for auction is this set of Lineman Climbing Tools. The belt is a Miller Brand D-Size 25. In great used condition with no loose stitching or enlarged holes. It comes with a 4 pocket tool pouch, a Bashlin Ditty bag and a nylon positioning strap. The leather is soft and supple. The pole climbers are Bashlin Orange offset hooks. These are used with normal signs of use. The gaffs have a great tip profile with gaff guards, straps in great condition with no enlarged holes or cuts. The C-pads are in good condition and have no damage, straps in great condition with no enlarged holes or cuts. Tool bag is Klein Camo with leather straps and leather bottom. This auction is for a 2951 Buckingham belt& 2 Buckingham No.157 safety straps. belt is marked on the metal tag 2951 42. 1-86 which I assume is 42 inch waist& made in January 1986) the straps are 72" long(not counting the metal hooks(actual pictures of items being offered) I bought this& some other climbing equipment from an electrical workers estate. Vintage Lineman, Logging, Logger, Arborist Klein Leather Climbing Belt W/Lanyard
This bid is for a vintage leather Klein lineman. Logger or arborist climbing belt with lanyard. Shows use and wear but still appears solid and usable. Leather is not dried out or rotten. I Waist will fit a 32" to 38" give or take a bit. One lanyard is marked Klein, appear usable but well worn, not sure I would trust it without doing a little repair to it. The other one is marked Bratton& Knight 1941. I wouldn't trust it, it needs repair. I am pretty much selling this stuff for logging display stuff. Sold AS IS. Winner pays shipping
