Up for auction now is a vintage pair of pole climbers. Made by Stringer Brooks from probably around the 50's. They are a complete set with the exception of one of the climbers is missing the calf strap. You can see by the photos who made them and I tried to take a picture of the back of the calf support that has the name Stringer on the leather. All in all they are in good shape with them being approx. 16" long and the spurs are around 3" Great collectable for the vintage utility collector. Linesman's Pole/Tree climbing equipment. It has had a lot of use. But is very heavy duty and has lots of life left. The wide padded belt has a Stringer name plate and a date of 1/77. The size I believe adjusts out to a 42/44. I am a 36/38 and there are four holes remaining. Belt has a leather pliers pouch attached and four attached leather loops for tools/equipment. Also there are four removable leather loops which snap to small metal rings on the belt. The lanyard is Buckingham and a date of 1988. Adjusts from 4 to 6-1/2 feet.
