These climbing spikes are in good used condition with normal signs of use. Cosmetically there are scuffs. Scratches, and surface rust, but it does not seem to effect the integrity of the item. They measure 17 1/2 inches from the top of the legging to the bottom of the spike when fully extended. When fully closed they measure 16 inches from top of the legging to the bottom of the spike. The boot trough ranges from 4 3/4 inches at the top to 3 inches at the base. These gaffs are being sold without any leather straps. Overall a good used pair of gaffs. These are nice tree climbing spikes. I am told they are from the US Military era WWII. No guarantees. I did not use the spikes and there doesn't appear that anyone else has either. The paint is still unblemished on the spike part. The ankle and leg straps are very good.

Which according to the catalog fits 28-32. I measured the waist and it came to 31 to 39 inches. My friend only used this once so it is in great condition. The paperback book is titled“The Tree Climber’s Companion A Reference and Training Manual For Professional Tree Climbers” It is ISBN number 0-615-11290-0 and measures 8.5 X 5.5 inches. The climbing belt is in very good condition. It's not marked so I don't know if it's Klein or not. The strap has some wear but should still be serviceable. The straps on the spikes are ugly but actually feel pretty good, they're not stiff and dried out. One is missing the toe strap.
