Up for auction is this nice used set of Bashlin tree/pole climbing gaffs/spikes 140-DS made in Grove city PA. And comes with the Rose manufacturing co. Climbing/ safety belt. The leather and straps on the climbers are in good condition just a little stiff, gaffs are still sharp. The safety belt I don't know how to tell exactly what size it is but I put it on and I have a 36" waist and it had three holes of adjustment on each side of the hole that fit me. I just bought this to use for climbing up to a tree stand. I wanted something beefier than typical tree stand harnesses as I am a 6'4" and 280 pounds. Unfortunately I am too big for it. It is much more substantial than the harnesses that come with stands and has 3 d rings for securing yourself. I paid around 40 bucks so am taking a loss but I have no use for it. If you are a normal size person this will be a great deal for you. I am also throwing in a second climbing belt that is also too small for me that just attaches to the waist and around the legs. These are tough to picture well. They are used but have nothing torn or broken.

Up for bid is a very nice Climbing/Lineman belt with accessories. I was unable to find the manufacture name on this belt is but the name on the pole safety strap is Buchingham and it is in very good shape.The same tag on the safety strap reads Bell System 12-74. The harness leather and tongue and buckle section are designed for rugged wear. This 5 inch wide belt is padded on the inside for more comfortable use. The leather belt strap is reinforced with a strong stitching for extended wear and strength. It has 2 metal heavy duty rings for attaching the pole strap and safety clips. There are 5 loops/clips on the belt for carrying tools. I recommend this belt for a larger waist size. I am a 40 waist and it fits on the one of the first belt hole. The difference from the last belt hole to the 1st belt hole is 8 inches. Going by that I believe ... moreit fits a 40 and a 48 waist. There is room on both ends to make more holes for a larger or smaller size. Along with this belt comes a 42 to 66 inch adjustable pole safety strap. This pole strap has 2 steel locking snap hooks with a large 1 inch throat opening. Up for your consideration is a Klein Tools Linesman Climbing Harness with a M. Klein& Sons leather safety strap. As I am not an expert on these items. I do not know too many details about these items or how they are sized. I will list what I do know to the best of my ability. The harness show the sizing of 32-40 and measures 43" when laid out flat. There is a 7/84 date code of manufacture. It has nine holes for adjustment. There are four small D-rings. One larger D-ring, two large loops for the safety straps, four leather tool holder loops, and one snap. It has some wear as shown in photos. The safety strap is marked on the snap with M. Klein& Sons. It is very heavy duty and measures 1 3/4" wide and is currently set at 58" long. It has two sets of holes which can be adjusted larger or smaller as needed. This is for a big man(I weighed 295) The belt has been extended to fit a person with a larger waistline(up to size 50) It's been that way all those years and has protected me well. The safety belt has the double latches that are required now and there is very little wear and certainly no red marks on the inside. It was replaced 2 years ago.
