Rohn-Loc Safety Clamp and Klien Tower Climbing Belt This is for a genuine Rohn-Loc Safety Clamp and Cable Grab that attaches to a 3/8 inch steel cable that is suspended from the top of the tower to the bottom. It is not used with rope. It's kept about 6 inches from the tower face and held under tension. This device is attached to a harness such as that included in this listing to the cable. The Rohn-Loc has two pins. That are used to rotate the handle up to the open position so that you can place it on the cable. The Rohn-Loc keeps you attached to the tower as you climb. The Rohn-Loc consistes of a steel shell. A steel cam, and two spring-loaded pins(one is visible at the top of the rope slot) one of which keeps the rope in the slot at the top, and the other keeps the cam from opening far enough to free the rope. Up for auction is a vintage heavy duty linemen's belt for climbing poles. It has a secondary belt riveted to it with places for tools in the back. On the right side it has a leather attachment for tools and on the left side is a canvas bag. It comes with the clip on belt for wrapping around the pole. There are also clips and metal rings on the belt. It needs a good cleaning.

VINTAGE POLE CLIMBING SAFETY TOOL BELT - BASHLIN SAFETY STRAP - BASHLIN SPIKES?
This is a vintage set of pole climbing equipment. The leather belt is 5" wide with some tool pouches& measures about 43" from the outside edge of the buckle to the last hole on the tongue strap& has heavy duty hardware. The Bashlin safety strap is 1 5/8" wide& looks to be more of a canvas with heavy duty snap locks. I believe the climbing spikes are also Bashlin but hard to make out the markings. They are about 17" long with good points& upper leather but missing the bottom strap. This set came from an estate sale& he was a retired from the phone co. I used some saddle soap on the leather but it's still old& a little stiff.
