Here is a climbing setup which includes the two leg spikes and the heavy climbing belt. It looks like a Klein belt but I cannot find any mark on the equipment. The belt looks very good. It does not appear to have had a lot of use. The spikes are in great shape, again they do not appear to have had a lot of use. Some of the straps on the spikes appear to have some mold on them. They should be tested, and oiled as they appear stiff, but I think they will work fine. Please check out the pictures, and thank you for looking.

The leather is strong and supple and all of the hardware and rivets are intact. But still, alway properly inspect or have inspected a tool like this prior to use. There are no makers markings on the belt that I can see. But on the spikes you see the same Cronk and the number 16 under it. There is also a tool pouch on the belt as well as a linemans electircal tape holder that allows the tape roll to dangle from the belt and be easily accessible. While I cant tell you the age for sure. This is the personal Belt belonging to the husband and was given to him when he retired from the telephone company. It was stored in the attic of his home. It shows some cracks in the leather. Rust here and there and some oxidizing from condensation. It is marked Bashlin and Grove City, PA. It is 36" when measuring the inside circumference of the Belt around to the 4th notch. For auction is a pretty nice Pole Climber Belt and the safety strap. I would consider this to be in good used condition. The tag says size 22 RT. Hope you know what that means. It will not fit me at a size 40 but I think it will fit a 36 and down. The tag says R.H. Buhrke Co. Inc. Mfd 2 79. I think given the age this equip. is in very useable condition. No cracking of the leather. The belt is all leather the best I can tell. The safety belt is what I believe to be a think canvass but is in good condition also.
