This is for the vintage late 70s pieces shown. Includes a climbing gear belt and bag and 2 Buckingham Bell System lineman spikes. The attached additional belt is marked Klein and Sons. They appear to be in good working order but please judge by the photos. I'm not sure how the judge the size- but it is adjustable. The belt is clearly marked not for line work. It is a safety belt. They Have normal usage wear and marks. These belonged to a lineman in western Maryland. The leather seems to be good. Please judge the condition by the photos. Email with any questions at all. From the original owner, who worked for the Bell Telephone system as a lineman in the late 1970’s to the late 1990’s, exact age is unknown. This is a pair of Pole/ tree climbers. Made by the Buckingham Manufacturing Company, not sure of age, but believe with the date code of 4-75 they were from the April 1975 era. The climbers are stamped on the main beam Buckingham BELL SYSTEM F. BUCKINGHAM 4-75, WE91171. in beam side is SHORT 14 3/4– 18 1/2 The top slide is adjustable. The gaffs are permanent CCA pole type and are 1 3/4”long. The shank is the contoured type. The top pads. Are stamped A.E. BURGESS LEA CO. 3-84. By the date I would assumed the pads were changed in 1984. The climbers have ... morebeen lightly cleaned. And the leather treated with leather oil. Condition* please review photo’s for your assurance of requirement’s and condition and use” The steel climbers themselves appear in good condition. Gaffs are in great shape, but the metal parts has the silver paint chips and rubs, has rust spots and discoloration, they need a good cleaning… Gaff covers…are in great shape The top pads. Early 18th century linen and silk work band sampler by Elizabeth Buckingham 1741. This sampler is absolutely exquisite. With extremely fine stitch work throughout. The top section of the sampler is decorated with examples of alphabet lettering, border patterns and stunning motifs. The rest of the sampler is stitched with the following verse(written as Elizabeth has spelt it) Awake my soul and with the sun thy daily stage of duty run. Shake of dul sloth and joyful rise to pay thy morning sacrifices. England in 1930. His love affair with aviation began after a visit to Sir Alan Cobham's National Aviation Day air show in a farmer's pasture near his home in Chesham. Watching Eighth Air Force B-17s and B-24s operate out of nearby Bovingdon during WWII further fueled Young's interest in aviation and helped develop his historic interest in aviation. Young has painted professionally since 1950. Rare dinner-plate " Royal Order of the Garter / Buckingham Palace " Minton
You are bidding on a rare and stunning China dinner-plate made by the Company Minton in around 1850 for Buckingham Palace and the table of Queen Victoria during the Order of the Garter Ceremonie. The piece shows a handpainted design of the Order of the Garter to the center and has a stunning cobalt blue and gilded design to the rim. This Dinnerservice is still used in the Palaces and the design stayed the same also the Manufacturer Coalport does supply the Service today. The plate is 10 inches in diameter and in excellent good condition with wear to the garter in the center which is the reason it is not more used!
