Made by the Buckingham Manufacturing Company, not sure of age, but believe with the date code of 4-48, they were from the April 1948 era. The climbers are stamped on the main beam Buckingham BELL SYSTEM A. BUCKINGHAM 4-48, WE44114, and stamped 16 1/2 IN. The gaffs are permanent CCA pole type and are 1 3/4”long. Vintage Vox V1123 Buckingham 1960's Guitar amp. Has Issues
1960's Thomas Organ Vox V1123 Buckingham Guitar amp head. This amp is a vintage solid state 35 watts at 8 ohms. It is in cosmetically great shape for it's age. The amp works. But has a problem with the Reverb switch and a few potentiometers. They might just need a good cleaning, but the amp is being sold as a working project that will need some servicing. The Black knobs are not original. I can tell you that all three channels work. Channel one the volume control has little effect. The fuzz works. But the tremolo depth control messes with the volume of the channel. Tremolo works. Channel 2 works and MRB works. Chanel 3 works. The reverb switch seems to boost the channels but provides no reverb on either channel. You can see a video of this amp on you tube and see where I demonstrate all the functions of the amp.
