Vintage Klein Tools Canvas Bag, Belt Harness, Gear, & Buckingham Buck Stop
A great set of Klein Tools items. I should tell you first I'm not familiar with some of these things but I will do my best in describing to you what we have. First up is a tattered canvas bag from Klein with the number 5102-24, it has two leather ahndles and leather buckle straps to keep it shut. The bottom is also leather and has a small tear on the edge, all of the things that are"wrong" with it only add to the asthetic of the bag. There is a Klein harness/belt with a tag that reads"Klein Tools Inc. U.S.A. Model 5216 Size M Serial 267030 Date 5-85" It's a very strong and sturdy fabric, with a large metal ring that connects to a rope which has a clasp hook on either end. The harness attatches with belt type straps in the back. There is a Buckingham Buck-Stop, this is one that I'm not sure of its purpose. But ... moreit has the clips on either end connected by a long piece of strong nylon, it has a tag that has some information including"Length 6' Then there are the five metal pieces of which I don't even have a name for you. My best guess is that they look like the steps you would put on the pole that you would be climbing. They measure about 6" long. Hello, this auction is for a Buckingham climbing belt. Size 21, Model 20003M, brown leather. The belt is in perfect condition(please see pictures) There are no tears, holes or rips anywhere on the belt, the leather is in a great shape, and all buckles work well. There are just a few minor scuffs(please see pictures) My husband will not use this belt any more, as he has to wear the belt the company he works for gave him. The body belt section of the model 20003 is connected using the 2000M body belt and has the added feature of an attached backsaver. Extra width provides support to the back to help relieve strain. This auction is for a pair of W.H. Buckingham. Mfg Co. Binghamton, NY tree climbing spikes with belt and climbing rope. Spikes are marked with maker along with" LC-5 15 IN 425-Phila 45-55" Leather straps attached to them are in fair aged and used condition with waring to them. Straps are marked with Buckingham. Only tearing I can see is slight to the buckle holes. More like leather cracking or seperating. Belt is in fair condition with no tears to it or fraying. It has 2 metal loops which the climbing rope attaches to. They are in fair shape with sign of use but no cracks. Climbing rope is in fair used condition with little fraying. more like rope being scuffed slightly. Clips on rope are in fair condition and clip properly with clip springs tight. Main belt is 44" and belt sinching strap is 52" Spikes themselves are approx ... more2" long. Rope including clips is 62" I am not an expert on this, so what you see is what you get. Buckingham Linemans Pole Tree climbing belt leather exc cond. size Large
This is a Buckingham linemans belt that fits me. It is dated 9/07. It is unused and in brand new condition but since I needed to put it on ebay it is considered used. I wear a size 34 waist and it fits great. There are 9 holes in the belt to adjust for different size people. I tried it on and used the middle hole so it will fit just about anyone. This is a large belt. There is also a strap that comes with this. Being that it is a leather item. It is a bit on the heavy side for shipping. I know when I bought it earlier this year I paid over $18 to get shipped to Florida. So that is what I will charge for shipping. $18.00. I also bought another belt and used that one 3 times. This one I never used since I used the other one I bought. I was trying to find a safety belt to climb palm trees. So I bought 2 linemans belts and one mountain climbing ... morebelt.
