Up for auction is a Buckingham tree/pole climbing spikes. Catalog number 9142, manufactured 2/83. These are in good useable condition; there is slight surface rust on a few areas of the steel parts. The leather straps are supple and the buckles are in good shape, however there is a bit of a musty odor to the leather. The Troll climbing harness is made in England. The belt is about 44" long in total; too small for me to try on as I have a 38" waist. I did take a close up of the only problem I found and that was on one side of one spike where the leather has a tear or been cut. Pair of older Buckingham spikes and Rose climbing belt. I'm no expert on either so feel free to ask questions regarding condition. The one is missing the foot strap which can be purchased on the Buckingham website. The leg pads show obvious wear and the leather straps show wear and have some age cracking. The gaffs have been re-sharpened at some time it appears. Model LC-5 16" The Rose manufacturing belt is in nice used condition. Can be lengthened or shortened according to need. Main bar is 16" long before adding length. Lengthening bar is 7" which would allow for about 4" additional length. Very sturdy. Scratches,coating loss, and spotty surface rust throughout. Straps are marked Bashlin Grove City, PA. They are in original box with instructions, ans hardware. I did not open the hardware package, it is stapled. Instructions have staining, and box has tears and staining. Straps have light dirt, and light mold from sitting for years. Leather is still plyable and not dried out. Spikes have numbers of PA146820 Buckingham F 3-88 on them. They both do have some surface rust and coating loss from sitting in box for years.
