Nice set of vintage climbing equipment. Buckingham Manufacturing Company Bell System Belt is leather with heavy duty buckle and rings for tree/ pole strap. Has built in tool holders. Metal reinforcement on belt has what appears to be brass fasteners. The backside of the buckle is imprinted with what appears to say Bell System and some other worn lettering- see photos. On the back of the belt is a brass tag that has some numbers and Buckingham. Tree/ Pole strap is leather with heavy duty snap hooks that snap onto rings on belt. Adjustable with heavy duty buckle. Spikes are heavy metal with leather padded pieces at the top. Points are sharp. Metal has signs of use with some minor twist in the metal- see photos. On the back of one of the spikes it says. TREE CLIMBING GEAR BUCKINGHAM GAFTS AND WEAVER BELT GOOD CONDITION
I used this equipment when I lived in a wooded area in Ohio to trim myown trees. I moved and don’t have a use for them now. The belt should easilyfit 30” to 38” waist. The Buckingham climbing gaffs are in very good condition. There is a little scrape on the leather which probably happened in the box when I moved. Let me know if you have any questions. I can say cosmetically it is all in excellent condition! The only thing I noticed is that one of the warning labels on the float body belt is cracked which obviously doesn't affect the usage. VINTAGE 1951 BUCKINGHAM LEATHER LINEMAN'S CLIMBING BELT & 6" SAFETY STRAP
This is a vintage 1951 Buckingham lineman pole climbing belt& safety strap. The safety strap is about 2" wide& 6' long& stamped 7-51. The brass rivets have some green on them. The belt is about 4" wide at the back with 3 leather loops& 1 brass square loop& stamped 10-51. The pouch has 3 tool pockets but is a little on the dry side, also on the belt is a tape holder& a thin leather strip with a adjustable loop on the end. It measures about 40" fron the outside edge of the buckle to the last hole on the tongue with 7 more hole going in to about 33" The leather seems good& not dried out but could use a good saddle soaping. This came from an estate sale.

Buckingham Tree Pole Lineman Climbing Belt and Bashlin Lanyard
This is a Buckingham climbing belt and a Bashlin Industries Lanyard. The belt is a size 28. I do not know what the size chart is for the sizing. I have a size 33 waist and this belt is too big for me in the smallest hole by a couple of inches. I would guess it a 35-36 up to a 43-44 waist size. It is dated 11/98 and it is in excellent condition. The lanyard is a Bashlin. It is made of two very heavy leather straps sewn together with what looks like may be a nylon material between the leather straps. It has the numbers 78-C on it. It is adjustable from 4 foot to 6 foot. I would rate it in good condition for it's age as well. Because of the nature of these items they are being sold"as is" no warranty is expressed or implied.
