3 Used Reels 2 PENN DELMAR 285& 1 BRONSON SPARTON 3500 Up for bid today for your concideration are 3 used vintage reels. All three are in used condition and show thier age. All seem to work properly and function the way they should. The Penn with the red handle is missing a center screw(See Picture 4) but still seems to work fine. Other than that. All are in good shape for the age with normal blemishes. The Bronson has some metal flaking away where the line come to the reel(see pictures) and has some minor rust but nothing that effects its function. All three could use oil! For Sale: Vintage Penn 285 Delmar Conventional Fishing Reel with box and extras- NICE! This is an early Delmar model made from dark brown plastic with black specks. The side plates have a pebble grain. Made in USA. Comes with original box. Penn Catalog No. 16, reel lube and servicing tool. This reel has seen very little use. Cosmetically the reel is in very good used condition with only some minor chrome loss on the crossbars and reel foot. Mechanically the reel is in excellent condition and everything is working properly. The original box shows some wear and tear. Weight: 13 1/2 oz. approx. Plate Diameter: 3 1/4 inches. This auction is for THREE PENN DELMAR 285 fishing reels. All have a little corrosion and boat rash but they are all in working order. Function correctly and have no cracks in the sideplates, nor any bent parts. The yellow one has been recently serviced and is ready to go, but the other two could use a tune-up to perform to their best. An extra spool is included. The green handled one has a stippled right side plate that is different than any I have seen and could be an earlier model?9

Two very nice PENN DELMAR 285 conventional saltwater fishing reels. Both reels have a little corrosion on the bars and spools and one has a little on the base. One reel has a bit of boat rash but the other does not have any that I can see. No cracks in any sideplate and everything about these reels is sound. Both reels function normally but could use a tune-up for flawless operation and better freespooling. Sorry that I didn't post more pictures but if you need more pics or have questions. I would be happy to oblige.

The box does have some stains and some paint flecks on it. I'm assuming from being in the previous owners garage. The original oil tube is included too. No paperwork though. Very nice condition, no rust or corrosion. A very few light scratches. Maybe rigged up as a spare but never used? Comes complete with original box, wrench, lube and catalogue. Box has a few worn corners and dirt and stains to the bottom, and a small hole in the lid. I was going to glue it but I'll leave that up to you.
