In the early 60's the"Special Senators" were added to the series; reels for fast light tackle game fishing with extra power and a higher gear ratio. In the late 80's the Senator II high speed casting models were added to the Senator-family, and the remaining original big game Senators were replaced by new models. Most of the original big game and light tackle models are not manufactured anymore, but many of the later additions can still be bought today. The 113H has been through several changes. The first models did not have a clicker. Later ones, the clicker was added. The most recent generations have a half-frame instead of the original posts. It has some wear but in all its in very good cosmetic shape and very good functional shape. The chrome parts- rings. Crank, star, lever, seat, posts and hardware have some normal finish wear to them but the are still in very good shape and look quite good in all. Spool has a ring of wear around the sidewalls but it is in good shape and it spins and sits very well. The plates are in very good shape with some lite surface wear. In all some normal wear and still very good cosmetic shape and a very good working solid reel ready to fish. The super-sized and zoom-able photos show the reel for your close inspection. This Senator 114 6/0 is in very good working shape and ready to fish. C ... moreranks well with very good well meshing gears. Nice click and solid anti-reverse. Drag works nicely with a good range strong responsive and smooth and also has a well working clutch. Vintage PENN Senator 114H 6/0 Made in USA You are bidding on a Vintage PENN Senator 114H 6/0 Fishing Reel. Cosmetically it has lots of wear and weathering and a few splits in the rings as you can see in the photos. The chrome parts- seat. Rings, crank, star, lever, posts and hardware all have wear and weathering, and the rings have a few splits. Spool has some lite wear and still looks to be in very good shape. The plates are in good shape with normal surface wear for a used reel. The super-sized and zoom-able photos show the reel quite well. This Senator 114H 6/0 still works and ready to fish. The bearings do have wear and they make some noise but the freespool mode and cranking both work well just some noise coming from the bearings. Otherwise it c ranks quite well with good gears and nice click and solid anti-reverse. Drag works nicely ... morewith a good range strong and smooth and also has a well working clutch. Has a very nice working clicker and clicker switch. Lots of finish wear. Bearings are noisy but still a good working solid reel ready to fish.
