This auction is for a used accurate accuframe red in color that fits to the folllowing reels: Penn 500. And 505 jigmasters.This will also fit Newell 338 series of reels. This frame is in very nice condition with all of the screw holes in good working condition. These frames stiffen up the entire reel assembly allowing for better casting fish after fish keeping the reel in alignment without distorsion. This auction is for a set of red accurate accuplates for a penn 505 or 506 jigmaster. The item was previously part of a complete conversion. But honestly I do not think it was ever used in a fishing battle. There is minor chipping on the top of the plates probably caused by storage. The winner of this auction will receive the items as pictured. This includes the screws needed for attaching the plates to a suitable frame. Also included is the screws for securing the gear bridge to the plates. As shown in the pictures these are the non clicker model of plates. These plates were designed for the high speed penn jigmasters models 505 or 506. These will NOT accept the spool for a penn 500 or 501. The free spool clutch has a foam covering for bumper purposes. Accurate penn 500 501 505 506 jigmaster squidder 140 146 145 red handle
This auction is for a used red aluminum anodised handle that fits penn jigmasters 500. 501, 505, 506. This should also fit penn squidders 140, 145, 146. I believe this to be manufactured by nitrofish, but looks very nice with accurate or tiburon conversions. This looks to be a quality built product with little if any use. I do not see any corrosion or pitting where the handle attaches to the shaft. There is a little chipping on the knob probably caused by storage. Penn jigmaster 505 hs 112h senator handle custom carbon drag 500 jigging cals
You are bidding on a nice used. Just serviced, Penn jigmaster 505 hi speed reel. Cosmetically it is a very nice reel. Little but of scratching on the clicker side plate(see pics) and a previous owner had engraved"86" on the bottom of the seat(see pics) There is a small mark on the very edge of the handle side plate where the free spool clutch lever hits it when engaging the spool. Couldn't get the camera to focus on it, but it seems to be common as all my jigmasters have it. Mechanically I consider it excellent. Amazing free spool. I flush. And oil the bearings after every use. The drag stack is of my own design, like most of the reels I use. It consists of a carbontex washer under the main gear, instead of the fiber, and a stack of 4 steels( round, then 2 keyed, then round) and 4 carbontex washers. All greased with a blend ... moreof cal's and a special friction modifier. What this does is provides very smooth, progressive and predictable drag pressure, as well as piece of mind that I've got a beefy enough drag setup to handle the heat if a big cobia or other endurance fighter takes the bait. If a stainless gear sleeve were added(that was going to be my next step) this stack should easily provide 20lbs of pressure. And last is the handle, it is off of a senator 112h. It does away with the counter weight allowing me to flick the drag with my thumb while reeling. Personal preference really, and the standard handle will for just the same done the only difference in a 112 and 505 gear sleeve is the thread pitch. This has been my go to reel for jigging and working lures for a while now. I hate to let it go along with the squidder that I've got listed. But I have to travel to fish, so I'm trying to thin down and fund a 2 speed avet to serve as my all purpose casting/jigging reel. And since I tear down, clean, and regrease every reel that went on the boat with me every time, it gets tedious. If you win and would like the original handle to come with it as well. It is actually a very slick and smooth reel besides the drag is a little sticky. A set of ht100's and some grease would make this into a nice big capacity reel. There are extra side plates. Trim rings, gears, bridge, yoke, spool, and clutch for this reel. There is a frame. Side plates, bridge, and aluminum spool for a jigmaster 500. There are side plates. Gears, yokes, clutches, and bridges for an 85 and 285 Del mar. There are 4 drag stars.
