This auction is for a used Daiwa Saltiga 50 casting reel. This reel has some cosmetic wear but is fully functional. I'm including a set of carbontex drags and a small container of Cals reel grease. These drag washers were previously greased but I do not believe were ever installed in this reel. The drags which are installed are perfectly functional. Although many anglers agree that carbon fiber drgs are much more consistent across their range. As shown in the pics there is some color loss on the clicker side of of the spools skirt. This was due to thumbing the spool across the skirt while casting.Castability on this reel remains very good. There is some corrosion near the foot of the reel. This does not affect the reels performance. There is also a jigging knob installed on the cranking handle. Which spins as it should. This reel is a ... moregood choice for live baiting or jig fishing. Many people believe the Saltiga series star drag to be one of the finest star drag reels in existence. Specs are as follows: 6 BB- 1RB. Line per handle turn approx 35-36 inches.
