Very Nice Penn Peer 309 Level Wind Ocean Casting Fishing Reel!
This is a Very Nice Penn Peer 309 Level Wind Ocean Casting Reel in Very Nice Working Condition: all mechanics work great to the best that I can tell. I might want to say the drag washer on the star drag have some play left. But are not as adjustable as when new, i.e. you can still adjust the drag, you just don’t have as much ability as before the washers were slightly compressed. Don’t really notice any rust or corrosion on the reel. It is decently clean with just a little dust or grease stain in some of the crevices and other than that, shows only minor signs of use. On the bottom of the reel foot the original owner has engraved his name and city and state. The number on the bottom of the reel foot is 30-66. This reel is ready to catch fish. Pictures show well. Penn Peer 309 Conventional Fishing Reel for Repair
Here is a Penn 309 red case that functions good but i listed as a repair because the spool is slightly bent. If you have a 309 spool you could replace it or use the way it is. The reel cranks in ok you can see when cranking the spool is not running true. The star drag adjustment works good, the line release lever works good, and the clicker sounds good also the levelwind works good.
