In the early 60's the"Special Senators" were added to the series; reels for fast light tackle game fishing with extra power and a higher gear ratio. In the late 80's the Senator II high speed casting models were added to the Senator-family, and the remaining original big game Senators were replaced by new models. Most of the original big game and light tackle models are not manufactured anymore, but many of the later additions can still be bought today. VINTAGE PENN SENATOR 113H 4/0 SPECIAL CONVENTIONAL FISHING REEL NR
A vintage Penn 113-H 4/0 special offshore reel in decent condition. It features a solid metal spool and a large spinning handle. The reel is in great condition minor scratches and brassing. As such. The reel works perfectly and offers superior reliability. As you can see, it is in decent cosmetic shape with some scratches and corrosion. Pictures are of exact reel. There is 1 crack in the outer ring right over screw probably due to overtightening of screw. Please refer to pictures for closer examination. Feel free to ask me anything about the reel. It ships quickly from Florida from a 100% positively rated seller. I removed the line to expose the spool, I did not know what condition it was in and I want to be as accurate as possible. Vintage PENN Senator 113H 4/0 Made in USA You are bidding on a Vintage PENN Senator 113H 4/0 Fishing Reel. It has lots of wear and weathering but in all its in solid and well working shape. The chrome parts- rings(outer ring on left side has a split) Seat, crank, star, lever, posts and hardware have wear to them but the are still in good solid shape. Spool has brass and weathering rings on sidewalls but it spins and sits well and solid shape, should look fine with a fill of line. The plates are in good shape with normal surface wear, the tail plate has a hole because a new click ring was installed. The super-sized and zoom-able photos show the reel for your close inspection. This Senator 113H 4/0 is in good working shape and ready to fish. C ranks quite well with good gears and nice click and solid anti-reverse. Drag works nicely with a good ... morefull range strong and smooth and also has a well working clutch. Freespool works well and has a very nice working strong clicker and clicker switch. Has lots of finish wear as you can see but in all a good solid and working reel ready to fish.
