First of all. I know absolutely nothing about this reel. I bought it for the spinning rod it was on as a combo at a yard sale. The seller would not sell the rod separately. So I am putting the reel up for sale. All I can tell you is that it winds smooth. Brakes work, clicker works, all appears to be fine. This appears to be a freshwater reel because there is no corrosion that comes with saltwater use. It has seen very very little fishing time! From what I have read on the internet. This is the"go to" reel for serious catfish fishing, pier and dock and boat fishing for fresh and saltwater fishing. Also a really good choice for surf fishing.
