Very hard to find, Accurate aluminum spool, silver/nickel in color, for Penn 500 jigmaster mid size reel(or sometimes called 99 size) The spool is approximately 2 3/16 inches wide. please see pictures of details) More and more fisherman are looking at the mid size reels. From the smaller to the larger hands, the mid size reels works well. Does not take away from the drags, just easier to fish. Penn made a reel called the 99. This reel looks so much like the Penn 500 jigmaster but does not have the same drags in it. the 99 reel has a smaller drags. The 99 was a nice size for most of us, just really like the better drag. So with the ... morenewer items being made, you can have what you are looking for. it is very nice. Shipping cost is for the 50 US states. PENN SQUIDDER JR. 140 modified to a 146 with NEWELL FRAME and SPOOL. The stock small handle has been replaced with a larger one from a jigmaster. For more leverage. Please note that the NEWELL BASE on this reel is the early deckhand style without the tabs that would normally fit into a reel seat. You can USE it on a rod with reel seat- I would recommend a piece of cork tape around the reel seat on the rod before attaching reel. Unfortunately, I don't have the NEWELL clamp but I have included a stock squidder clamp that will work just fine. Light boat rash and corrosion(pitting) on chrome. PLEASE SEE PHOTOS! Spool for PENN 99 midsize jigmaster fishing reel Accurate ? Tiburon ? Newell ?
Aluminum aftermarket spool for the Newell modified. PENN 99 Midsize Jigmaster. Unknown manufacturer but I am guessing that it is either made by Accurate or Tiburon. The clicker star is gone so if you need the clicker function, you would have to spot weld another onto this reel. There are a few small nicks along the extreme rim of reel that would effectively be INSIDE the reel when installed so not a problem(PLEASE SEE PHOTOS! A Very High Quality Spool.
