Up for auction is a vintage linemans belt from Klein. One belt that goes around the waist and one large strap attached that goes around the pole(I think) Lots of loops for tools. Has a pouch to hold tools alos that hangs from belt. Very wide belt. Belt measures 56" end to end and the strap is 54" long. Very heavy leather with large metal hooks. The leather needs reconditioning. But otherwise good. Sorry about the increase in shipping- the post office has raised their prices again this year + the cost of packing supplies has gone up and eBay now takes 10% of the shipping I charge and puts it in their pocket. I am not sure just how old this belt is but based on the leather detailing. Stitching and metal hardware I would say that it is most likely vintage(pre 70's) The WM Bashlin metal tag is hard to read but you can see that it is clearly marked size D18, No 88. All hardware and straps seem to be in good working condition with no tears or rips. Metal hardware has begun to ... moreoxidize and the leather is a bit misshaped from being stored over time. This is the personal Belt belonging to the husband and was given to him when he retired from the telephone company. It was stored in the attic of his home. It shows some cracks in the leather. Rust here and there and some oxidizing from condensation. It is marked Bashlin and Grove City, PA. It is 36" when measuring the inside circumference of the Belt around to the 4th notch. The waist is a thick rigid leather. It has two thick metal hooks. A side pouch and a leather strap with a metal hanger. The Belt is structurally sound and is not broken, ripped or torn. VINTAGE LINEMAN ELECTRICIAN LEATHER BAG WITH ALL OLD TOOLS KELIN SPOOL WIRE
Really nice set of all collectable tools that all work. No issues, nothing broken or bent and the Leather Bag is in awesome shape. The leather is extra heavy duty, looks like 10oz size leather. It's stamped 5118 C J2. Both the Orange handle needle nose and long arm cutters are Pittsburg. The Crimpers are not marked but im sure these are USA. The Wire Cutters Pliers are Benard Schollhorn. These are the parallel opening jaws that have the wire grove on each jaw.The big Aligator pliers, the ones you see every electrician carry are marked and these too are in very good shape. The Wire cutters that are angle cut diangle are very clean, also marked USA and are for cutting wire leaving a certian size, very handy. The spool is a Klein 27400 and it's for pulling wire. It works great, spins, nothing wrong with it but thats all i know about ... morethis thing, it has belt loops and i did take it apart to make sure it was up to snuff. I ship quick. This is a vintage 1951 Buckingham lineman pole climbing belt& safety strap. The safety strap is about 2" wide& 6' long& stamped 7-51. The brass rivets have some green on them. The belt is about 4" wide at the back with 3 leather loops& 1 brass square loop& stamped 10-51. The pouch has 3 tool pockets but is a little on the dry side, also on the belt is a tape holder& a thin leather strip with a adjustable loop on the end. It measures about 40" fron the outside edge of the buckle to the last hole on the tongue with 7 more hole going in to about 33" The leather seems good& not dried out but could use a good saddle soaping. This came from an estate sale.

This bid is for a vintage leather Klein lineman. Logger or arborist climbing belt with lanyard. Shows use and wear but still appears solid and usable. Leather is not dried out or rotten. I Waist will fit a 32" to 38" give or take a bit. One lanyard is marked Klein, appear usable but well worn, not sure I would trust it without doing a little repair to it. The snaps are stamped Buhrke Co. Chicago. It is 75ish years old and it's really in rather good condition.but NOT new! Your reasons for considering and possibly buying this are your own. The only ID I could find was the name Buckingham on the buckles and the number 44 on the outside of back band. Shows average wear but not worn out. There are multiple tool holders- it looks like the flap is missing to a pouch. The overall length of the leather belt is 55" the lanyard as shown is 52" from end to end of hooks. There is about 30" of that which is looped with holes for adjustment. I don't know much about these so if you need more info please ask.

For auction is a leather utility pouch used by a Bell System lineman. But there is no indication that it is company issued, but it probably is. The pouch measures approx 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 x 3" closed. The little antique coin purse is 2" x 2 1/2" The large leather pouch is in very good condition, but the leather is stiff. The story behind the little purse: Used by my friend's father on a huckster route in Baltimore. That was probably in the 20's to 60's.
