Offered is a vintage large BUCKINGHAM TREE. POLE, UTILITY CLIMBING BELT. The belt measures about 71" long with the clips(about 57" of belt) and 1 5/8" wide. The condition is used, has some wear on the edges of the belt, is marked BUCKINGHAM D-99& 6 99, the clips are firmly attached and the locking mechanism works well, and there is a small dent in one of the steel clip holders. This auction is for a very nice set of vintage linesman equipment that includes the tool belt. Safety lanyard, pouches and climbing spikes. Marked on the belt: KLEIN BURHKE- BELL SYSTEM- SIZE 22- MFG. 11 70- 29271- Marked on the canvas pouches: BELL SYSTEM B- Marked on the lanyard: M. KLEIN& SONS- BELL SYSTEM- 3 73- WE12970- and marked on the climbing spikes: BUCKINGHAM- BELL SYSTEM- 4 73- WF34410- 36157- LONG 17 3/4- 21 1/2. These climbing spikes are a shiny chrome plated steel and appear never used with virtually not a scratch on them. All the holes in the straps do not appear ever used either. The upper padded leathers are supple and have no dry rot and only show storage wear. Overall these impressive climbing spikes appear never used and in excellent condition. The lanyard, pouches and belt are also in excellent condition with no ... morerips, tears, holes, busted stitches, dried leather or any damages and appear only very lightly used. The spikes are well used and in good condition. all the leather is very good, see pics. the calf belts are usable but should be replaced, any narrow belts will do the trick though. the belt is 46' long and should work for a waist of up to 36' If you have any questions dont hesitate to ask.
