Buckingham Linemans Pole Tree climbing belt leather exc cond. size Large
This is a Buckingham linemans belt that fits me. It is dated 9/07. It is unused and in brand new condition but since I needed to put it on ebay it is considered used. I wear a size 34 waist and it fits great. There are 9 holes in the belt to adjust for different size people. I tried it on and used the middle hole so it will fit just about anyone. This is a large belt. There is also a strap that comes with this. Being that it is a leather item. It is a bit on the heavy side for shipping. I know when I bought it earlier this year I paid over $18 to get shipped to Florida. So that is what I will charge for shipping. $18.00. I also bought another belt and used that one 3 times. For auction is a Bashlin Pole Climbers leather belt with additional leather tool pouch. I feel this is pretty good condition althought it has no doubt been used. It is heavy and that is why the shipping. I figure that anybody looking at this knows how much money these cost. If you do not check out the Bashlin site and check it out. I am going to start the price at about what the extra tool pouch would cost if you order it from Bashlin. I have no idea what a used belt is worth. You the buyers will decide that. This is the personal Belt belonging to the husband and was given to him when he retired from the telephone company. It was stored in the attic of his home. It shows some cracks in the leather. Rust here and there and some oxidizing from condensation. It is marked Bashlin and Grove City, PA. It is 36" when measuring the inside circumference of the Belt around to the 4th notch. The waist is a thick rigid leather. It has two thick metal hooks. A side pouch and a leather strap with a metal hanger. The Belt is structurally sound and is not broken, ripped or torn. I'm not sure what this is. It came from someone who owned a farm and horses and looks like it would fit a horse neck. It is in old. Used condition. The leather has not been taken care of. Vintage Big Tree Climbing Belt From big tree country in Humboldt County in FAR northern coastal California. Heavy leather belt with brass rivets measures approximately 45 inches long and 7 inches wide Steel hardware. The leather is in very good shape- it is a bit stiff but would become supple with leather oil and elbow grease The 1 inch sisal rope the is skillfully spliced onto the belt. The rope is approximately 17 feet long. Which indicates it was used on big trees with 4-5 feet diameter trees Please Note: I charge ACTUAL COST for shipping as calculated by eBay's programs. I got two lanyards with it and didn't get a picture of the nylon one(will add it later) I couldn't find any company name on the nylon and the leather 52N-2HL which is shown in the photo lists for $165.47.
