It is heavy and that is why the shipping. I figure that anybody looking at this knows how much money these cost. If you do not check out the Bashlin site and check it out. I am going to start the price at about what the extra tool pouch would cost if you order it from Bashlin. I have no idea what a used belt is worth. You the buyers will decide that. I have all of my items priced to sell and not keep. I think you can see that on the leather it has 71-H and under that it has D-23. Hope that means something to you. Rust here and there and some oxidizing from condensation. It is marked Bashlin and Grove City, PA. It is 36" when measuring the inside circumference of the Belt around to the 4th notch. The waist is a thick rigid leather. It has two thick metal hooks. A side pouch and a leather strap with a metal hanger. The Belt is structurally sound and is not broken, ripped or torn. Really nice set of all collectable tools that all work. No issues, nothing broken or bent and the Leather Bag is in awesome shape. The leather is extra heavy duty, looks like 10oz size leather. It's stamped 5118 C J2. Both the Orange handle needle nose and long arm cutters are Pittsburg. The Crimpers are not marked but im sure these are USA. The Wire Cutters Pliers are Benard Schollhorn. These are the parallel opening jaws that have the wire grove on each jaw.The big Aligator pliers, the ones you see every electrician carry are marked and these too are in very good shape. The Wire cutters that are angle cut diangle are very clean, also marked USA and are for cutting wire leaving a certian size, very handy. The spool is a Klein 27400 and it's for pulling wire. It works great, spins, nothing wrong with it but thats all i know about ... morethis thing, it has belt loops and i did take it apart to make sure it was up to snuff. I ship quick. VINTAGE 1951 BUCKINGHAM LEATHER LINEMAN'S CLIMBING BELT & 6" SAFETY STRAP
This is a vintage 1951 Buckingham lineman pole climbing belt& safety strap. The safety strap is about 2" wide& 6' long& stamped 7-51. The brass rivets have some green on them. The belt is about 4" wide at the back with 3 leather loops& 1 brass square loop& stamped 10-51. The pouch has 3 tool pockets but is a little on the dry side, also on the belt is a tape holder& a thin leather strip with a adjustable loop on the end. It measures about 40" fron the outside edge of the buckle to the last hole on the tongue with 7 more hole going in to about 33" The leather seems good& not dried out but could use a good saddle soaping. This came from an estate sale.
