Offered is a vintage large BUCKINGHAM TREE. POLE, UTILITY CLIMBING BELT. The belt measures about 71" long with the clips(about 57" of belt) and 1 5/8" wide. The condition is used, has some wear on the edges of the belt, is marked BUCKINGHAM D-99& 6 99, the clips are firmly attached and the locking mechanism works well, and there is a small dent in one of the steel clip holders. Vintage Klein Tools Canvas Bag, Belt Harness, Gear, & Buckingham Buck Stop
A great set of Klein Tools items. I should tell you first I'm not familiar with some of these things but I will do my best in describing to you what we have. First up is a tattered canvas bag from Klein with the number 5102-24, it has two leather ahndles and leather buckle straps to keep it shut. The bottom is also leather and has a small tear on the edge, all of the things that are"wrong" with it only add to the asthetic of the bag. There is a Klein harness/belt with a tag that reads"Klein Tools Inc. U.S.A. Model 5216 Size M Serial 267030 Date 5-85" It's a very strong and sturdy fabric, with a large metal ring that connects to a rope which has a clasp hook on either end. The harness attatches with belt type straps in the back. There is a Buckingham Buck-Stop, this is one that I'm not sure of its purpose. But ... moreit has the clips on either end connected by a long piece of strong nylon, it has a tag that has some information including"Length 6' Then there are the five metal pieces of which I don't even have a name for you. My best guess is that they look like the steps you would put on the pole that you would be climbing. They measure about 6" long. It is L shaped and measures 8" x 8" on the outsides and 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" on the insides. It is a very thick and durable leather piece that has the purpose of holding a climbing spike in place. VINTAGE 1951 BUCKINGHAM LEATHER LINEMAN'S CLIMBING BELT & 6" SAFETY STRAP
This is a vintage 1951 Buckingham lineman pole climbing belt& safety strap. The safety strap is about 2" wide& 6' long& stamped 7-51. The brass rivets have some green on them. The belt is about 4" wide at the back with 3 leather loops& 1 brass square loop& stamped 10-51. The pouch has 3 tool pockets but is a little on the dry side, also on the belt is a tape holder& a thin leather strip with a adjustable loop on the end. It measures about 40" fron the outside edge of the buckle to the last hole on the tongue with 7 more hole going in to about 33" The leather seems good& not dried out but could use a good saddle soaping. This came from an estate sale.

All hardware. Seams and stitching appears to be in good condition. There are some scuffs and marks. The waist belt measures approx 45" from buckle to tongue end. I wear a 35" waist pants. Used Pole climbing harness with climbing gaffes. Found this in a garage that someone was cleaning out in northeast Nebraska not for sure how old it is. This set has definitely been used it's worn but still can be used. Says size 20. VINTAGE BUCKINGHAM LEATHER LINEMAN/CLIMBING BELT & LANYARD
The only ID I could find was the name Buckingham on the buckles and the number 44 on the outside of back band. Shows average wear but not worn out. There are multiple tool holders- it looks like the flap is missing to a pouch. The overall length of the leather belt is 55" the lanyard as shown is 52" from end to end of hooks. There is about 30" of that which is looped with holes for adjustment. I don't know much about these so if you need more info please ask.

Buckingham Utility Climbing Tool Belt Vietnam Vintage Marked U.S. 2-66 1201 40
This auction is for a vintage Buckingham brand Vietnam era climbing utility belt. The markings on the brass tag are 1201 40 2-66 U.S. I have used this and I have a 35 inch waste and weigh 185 and 6 foot 1" tall that is probably about the maximum waste size. It measures 22" from Dee ring attachment point to Dee ring attachment point. And 47" from buckle hinge point to belt tip I am not the original user but I have used this as a safety belt while topping and trimming limbs on a large fir tree for better view. But now I use a mountaineering belt and harness instead. The leather is still nice and flexible without any unusual cracking for its age. The belt has been taken care of with the use of a wax based leather preservative.
