VINTAGE BUCKINGHAM CLIMBING TREE POLE UTILITY BELT SAFETY BELT D-99 USED
Offered is a vintage large BUCKINGHAM TREE. POLE, UTILITY CLIMBING BELT. The belt measures about 71" long with the clips(about 57" of belt) and 1 5/8" wide. The condition is used, has some wear on the edges of the belt, is marked BUCKINGHAM D-99& 6 99, the clips are firmly attached and the locking mechanism works well, and there is a small dent in one of the steel clip holders. These spikes are very old and well used. I would think the leather might need to be replaced if you really were going to climb anything and feel safe. They look to be adjustable and the spikes are quite sharp. Just can't imagine using these! Guess it could be fun.

On the right side it has a leather attachment for tools and on the left side is a canvas bag. It comes with the clip on belt for wrapping around the pole. Klein-Buhrke 5228 Linesman Pole or Tree Climbing Utility Belt w Strap Good Used
Lightly used climbing belt w strap. Both in very good condition. Aluminium tag reads Klein-Buhrke, Model 5228, Serial 54357, Date Mfg 1-70. Although this is an older belt, it is very well made and has been kept in great condition. Well padded with heavy duty ring and clips. Leather is still solid but pliable, stitching and rivets are all tight. Please view all my photos and you'll see how nice this belt is. Fastened in the outer hole, waist belt measures 45" around the inside and can be used up to 8 1/2" smaller- 36 1/2" at tightest hole. Previous owner has added an extra hole between the first and second tightest holes. Looks like previous owner has cut off two leather tabs of some sort that would have hung at lower left and right on the belt(see photos) Pole strap is 1 3/4" wide heavy reinforced nylon( and is shown ... moreat 52" total length with lots of adjustment left in either direction. If you need me to be more specific as to length adjustments please ask. Heavy duty hooks/closures, all rivets are tight and I see no cuts or worn spots. Metal strap at end is marked Klein& Sons 5295 with an issue date of 2-77(1977) Although this is an older set, I see nothing that would keep it from being as safe as anything made today.
