I am selling my Bashlin Model 88 D26 climbing belt with safety strap& Klein ditty bag. It is in great used condition with no signs of abuse or damage. All of the stitching is as it should be. It was never left out in the back of a truck bed.it was always stored in a dry bin. None of the rivets are damaged either. This is a great belt for any lineman who is not looking to pay"new" prices! These belts are very expensive! I am no longer in the pole line business. So I have no use for the gear.

This is the personal Belt belonging to the husband and was given to him when he retired from the telephone company. It was stored in the attic of his home. It shows some cracks in the leather. Rust here and there and some oxidizing from condensation. It is marked Bashlin and Grove City, PA. It is 36" when measuring the inside circumference of the Belt around to the 4th notch. The waist is a thick rigid leather. It has two thick metal hooks. A side pouch and a leather strap with a metal hanger. The Belt is structurally sound and is not broken, ripped or torn. Bashlin Lineman's Belt, Floridian 88, D21, 6 ft. Pole Strap, Klein Parts Bag
There's something about high quality leather work. And Bashlin has got it with their Floridian 88 lineman's belt. This belt is in great shape. There is some wear and tear through out. But nothing I can see that would affect safety. Durability, performance or even the looks of this belt. It is a size D21 and is 32 1/2 to 42 1/2 inches long, measured from the inside of the buckle to the prong holes. The pole strap also in great shape. It is 6 ft long made of latigo leather reinforced with nylon. The snaps both work well with plenty of spring. The belt itself shows some wear. But nothing serious. There's also a Klein 5142-P parts bag. The seam along one side of the inner pocket is about half ripped out. But, the bag itself is good, made of heavy canvas. The bottom is lined with leather that has a grommeted drain hole. This is used ... moregear. If you take it up a pole. It's your choice. Still, this is top quality gear in good condition. I expect it to give many years of safe, reliable service.

Belt size is D-27(Belt is black leather with mesh on the inside)I must say I've worn quite a few belts over the years and this belt by far is the best I've ever owned. The mesh layer built in the belt is awesome! This belt hugs the hips and has extra D-rings for carrying a secondary lanyard. My old belts have all had just 2 D-rings. Let me tell u 4-D Rings is the way to go. The upper D's are positioned in just the right place. The arc resistant cushion helps with cooling and ventilation. It is soft. And requires no break-in. Buckingham Tree Pole Lineman Climbing Belt and Bashlin Lanyard
This is a Buckingham climbing belt and a Bashlin Industries Lanyard. The belt is a size 28. I do not know what the size chart is for the sizing. I have a size 33 waist and this belt is too big for me in the smallest hole by a couple of inches. I would guess it a 35-36 up to a 43-44 waist size. It is dated 11/98 and it is in excellent condition. The lanyard is a Bashlin. It is made of two very heavy leather straps sewn together with what looks like may be a nylon material between the leather straps. It has the numbers 78-C on it. It is adjustable from 4 foot to 6 foot. I would rate it in good condition for it's age as well. Because of the nature of these items they are being sold"as is" no warranty is expressed or implied.
