I was able to wear it and I have about a 34 waist with a belt hole or two remaining. Looks to be made of a heavy nylon or other material. Better than old leather! Klein Tool Lineman Safety Harness (Used) Heavy Duty (dated 02-1991
This is a Heavy Duty used Klein Tools Lineman's Harness. It is in good working order with no bad parts or missing parts. All of the stitching is tight and not coming apart anywhere. There is a lot of paint over spray on the harness from what it was used for but it does not affect how it works. I tried scraping off some of the paint and most of it came off. So if you have a little time it could be cleaned up a lot better than it is now. All of the rust that's on the buckles is on the surface and could be cleaned up also. It does appear to be a well made harness and it was made in the USA in 1991. Everything about it is heavy duty. Also someone might want to take a few minutes to clean off the paint on the buckles just to make them as safe as possible. It chips off with a pair of pliers.

Rose Lineman's Safety Harness (Used) With double safety lines
This is a Heavy Duty used Rose Lineman's Harness with double safety straps. The harness is in good working order with no bad parts or missing parts. On the harness the stitching is tight and not coming apart anywhere. This harness has the type connectors that you push the strap adjusting buckle thru a rectangle buckle and they overlap to connect to each other. You should be able to see what I mean in the pictures. All of the rust that's on the buckles is on the surface and could be cleaned up also. It does appear to be a well made harness and it was made in the USA between 1995 and 2000. I had to use the inspection tag dates to get an idea when it was made. The 2 safety lines are okay but the shock absorbing system might have to be removed and replace it or just reattach the safety straps with a carabiner.

This auction is for one Klein-Buhrke 5436 Lineman/Tree Climbing Work saddle Safety Harness in very good Condition. This is an older harness but it is in great condition because it has seen very little wear. It has been stored in a dry cellar for a long time and the nylon is bright and good and the leather is still nice and strong and supple. You can tell how little wear it had had by looking at the belt buckle holes. They are not strained or stretched as they would be if it had been used much.
