It was never left out in the back of a truck bed.it was always stored in a dry bin. None of the rivets are damaged either. This is a great belt for any lineman who is not looking to pay"new" prices! Up for Auction is this Klein Buhrke Lineman Belt& Strap with their original boxes. Both pieces are used and dated 10-1972 and are in great condition. Belt Model is 5268N and is marked size 18. It also has a tool holder marked 5112. The only flaw I see on belt is a small rivet popped on a clip for holding an extra tool(shown in last picture) which does not affect the structural integrity of the belt. Leather is in great condition. Strap Model is KL-5295 and is in great condition, appears to have some white spots on it(probably paint) Both items have been stored in their original boxes. 2 Lineman pole/ tree climbing spikes,1belt,1saftey strap and extra 2straps # 918
This was my Dads Lineman spikes. Belt, safety strap. They have been in a barn for 14 years. And havent been use or tested for that long. The belt and the safety strap was in the original plastic bags with some holes in the bags. So there is a little bit of corrosion on the metal but can be cleaned off. The Blue/white ajustable hooks are Klein hooks with buckingham model 3500 top padded nylon w/ Velcro straps. The second set are Buckingham model 3922 leather adjustable the spike looks larger than the fist set maybe for trees? The belt is a Miller 8435 nylon with a leather end. The safety strap is a Buckingham 3660. I have 2 extra hook straps and a extra Klein leather top part for a hook. I know nothing about this stuff I don't like heights or electricity so me ever using these will not happen. Look good at the picks I'm sure you know ... morewhat I have more than I do! I have for auction a Klein lineman's tool belt with safety strap and 2 pouchs. One pouch is a parts bag or a chalk bag? That one is old and not in that good of shape. The other pouch is a Klein 5166 and is in very good shape. The belt itself is a model 52666N22 and was made in 5-85. The size is min. 37 and Max. 45. The previous owner did some"customizing" to this belt. He cut a loop off. Cut one belt insert strap and cut the leather strap for holding a roll of tape or something on. He might of been left handed and wanted a little different reach. None of these are safety issues and it still all functions great. Offered is a Klein lineman tree pole climbing safety strap in good condition. Shows signs of light wear. Clip springs are strong and move freely. Please note that originally that both clips have the double safety feature where you use both thumb and index finger to open. But on one clip the thumb part of the safety feature has been disabled. Please see the disabled clip on the left side of the third pic and right side of the last pic. Note the disable part is on the same clip and it's the clip on the riveted end of the strap. Bashlin Lineman's Belt, Floridian 88, D21, 6 ft. Pole Strap, Klein Parts Bag
There's something about high quality leather work. And Bashlin has got it with their Floridian 88 lineman's belt. This belt is in great shape. There is some wear and tear through out. But nothing I can see that would affect safety. Durability, performance or even the looks of this belt. It is a size D21 and is 32 1/2 to 42 1/2 inches long, measured from the inside of the buckle to the prong holes. The pole strap also in great shape. It is 6 ft long made of latigo leather reinforced with nylon. The snaps both work well with plenty of spring. The belt itself shows some wear. But nothing serious. There's also a Klein 5142-P parts bag. The seam along one side of the inner pocket is about half ripped out. But, the bag itself is good, made of heavy canvas. The bottom is lined with leather that has a grommeted drain hole. This is used ... moregear. If you take it up a pole. It's your choice. Still, this is top quality gear in good condition. I expect it to give many years of safe, reliable service.

Bashlin climbing belt(tagged"size D23/ Code J" See photo 5) and the holes correspond to waist 38-46" with a removable Bashlin leather tool pouch; a wide green"tested Buhrke" adjustable fabric pole strap 1-3/4" x about 80" w/o buckles(buckles are coded"3040C Fe tested" a large canvas hanging bag; and a single piece hook and pair of 2" rings. I only wiped it all down to get the dust off. I expect you will clean and oil(or whatever you feel necessary) to make this all like you prefer. I found not a single instance that I thought was a safety concern(but I'm not a lineman.
