Up for Auction is this Klein Buhrke Lineman Belt& Strap with their original boxes. Both pieces are used and dated 10-1972 and are in great condition. Belt Model is 5268N and is marked size 18. It also has a tool holder marked 5112. The only flaw I see on belt is a small rivet popped on a clip for holding an extra tool(shown in last picture) which does not affect the structural integrity of the belt. Leather is in great condition. Strap Model is KL-5295 and is in great condition, appears to have some white spots on it(probably paint) Both items have been stored in their original boxes. 2 Lineman pole/ tree climbing spikes,1belt,1saftey strap and extra 2straps # 918
This was my Dads Lineman spikes. Belt, safety strap. They have been in a barn for 14 years. And havent been use or tested for that long. The belt and the safety strap was in the original plastic bags with some holes in the bags. So there is a little bit of corrosion on the metal but can be cleaned off. The Blue/white ajustable hooks are Klein hooks with buckingham model 3500 top padded nylon w/ Velcro straps. The second set are Buckingham model 3922 leather adjustable the spike looks larger than the fist set maybe for trees? The belt is a Miller 8435 nylon with a leather end. The safety strap is a Buckingham 3660. I have 2 extra hook straps and a extra Klein leather top part for a hook. Klein-Buhrke 5228 Linesman Pole or Tree Climbing Utility Belt w Strap Good Used
Lightly used climbing belt w strap. Both in very good condition. Aluminium tag reads Klein-Buhrke, Model 5228, Serial 54357, Date Mfg 1-70. Although this is an older belt, it is very well made and has been kept in great condition. Well padded with heavy duty ring and clips. Leather is still solid but pliable, stitching and rivets are all tight. Please view all my photos and you'll see how nice this belt is. Fastened in the outer hole, waist belt measures 45" around the inside and can be used up to 8 1/2" smaller- 36 1/2" at tightest hole. Previous owner has added an extra hole between the first and second tightest holes. Looks like previous owner has cut off two leather tabs of some sort that would have hung at lower left and right on the belt(see photos) Pole strap is 1 3/4" wide heavy reinforced nylon( and is shown ... moreat 52" total length with lots of adjustment left in either direction. If you need me to be more specific as to length adjustments please ask. Heavy duty hooks/closures, all rivets are tight and I see no cuts or worn spots. LINEMAN/POLE/TREE CLIMBING BELT POLE STRAP & METAL SAFETY CLIPS
Up for bid is a very nice Climbing/Lineman belt with accessories. I was unable to find the manufacture name on this belt is but the name on the pole safety strap is Buchingham and it is in very good shape.The same tag on the safety strap reads Bell System 12-74. The harness leather and tongue and buckle section are designed for rugged wear. This 5 inch wide belt is padded on the inside for more comfortable use. The leather belt strap is reinforced with a strong stitching for extended wear and strength. It has 2 metal heavy duty rings for attaching the pole strap and safety clips. There are 5 loops/clips on the belt for carrying tools. I recommend this belt for a larger waist size. I am a 40 waist and it fits on the one of the first belt hole. The difference from the last belt hole to the 1st belt hole is 8 inches. Going by that I believe ... moreit fits a 40 and a 48 waist. There is room on both ends to make more holes for a larger or smaller size. Along with this belt comes a 42 to 66 inch adjustable pole safety strap. This pole strap has 2 steel locking snap hooks with a large 1 inch throat opening. Depending on the application you choose this positioning strap allows you to work at arms length from the pole.Tree or anchor point. The chain metal safety clips are 28 inches long overall with the throat on the larger locking clip at 3 inches and the small clips throat at 1 1/4 inches.
