Here is an absolutely gorgeous antique French commode or chest of drawers with an incredibly beautiful marble top. Walnut quarter panel oyster veneer, hand painted portraits and floral designs on it's decorative doors, string inlay on it's internal drawers, fluted columns and heavy carvings on the edges, cabriole legs and feet. This marvelous piece has a scalloped front and the marble itself has a thumbnail scalloped edge and is truly quite special. I've included a detailed description of this piece's very nice condition commensurate with it's age as well as multiple clear pictures from all sides in an attempt to accurately represent this terrific antique French marble top commode with original hardware and lovely hand painted portraits and floral decoration. Manufactured around the turn of the century and well loved and ... morerespected since. This fabulous circa 1900 marble top french commode stands 37 1/4 inches tall and measures inches wide and 24 1/4 inches deep. Front to back. The gorgeous marble top has a thumbnail scalloped edge and represents the longest and widest measurements and is 3/4's inch thick. Again, it is in lovely condition, free of any cracks, chips or hairlines. The large top center drawer measures 25 5/8's inches wide by 23 3/8 inches front to back and 3 inches deep. The four string inlay decorated drawers behind the two central decorative doors each measure 22 1/4 inch wide by 19 1/4 inch front to back and are all 3 1/4 inch deep except the 4 inch deep bottom drawer. The two side top drawers are each 6 3/4 inch wide by 17 inches front to back by 3 inches deep. Below those side drawers behind the decorative side doors, the cabinet behind each door measures 9 1/4 inch wide by 17 inches deep, front to back by 19 1/4 inches tall, with each of those cabinet split in half in height by a shelf that runs across the width of each of these side cabinets. Vintage Cigar Box with Mahoganny Veneer Partitioned Insert Picked up this box because it is beautifully made. Dovetail edges. Contours all the way around, pretty veneer and lovely grain/patina. Pretty sure this was a cigar box in its hay day. Someone modified the inside tray to be partitioned(see photos) so they could use it to organize beads for making jewelry. Not sure. But I don't think it would take too much effort to restore back to its original look. Has a metal crown shaped figure on the top. Neat and clean all around with the exception of some minor rub marks due to its age and prior use. Nothing that detracts from its clear beauty. Nice heavy box made super well. SONOR DESIGNER maple light shell 20"x16" Bass kick drum with Real Bubinga veneer
Hello and thank for your interest. Please read before you buy. For sale is a nice Sonor Designer 20"diameter by 16" deep bass drum with mounting plate and legs. Maple light shell 8.8 mm 12 plies. Made in Germany. This is the first generation designers with stuck on badge and real Bubinga veneer like the Signature series. This is a early 90's drum. So it has some wear. The main issue is a slight bump on the inner shell(under 2" you can't really see it, but if you run your finger, you can feel is there. You can notice this only on the inside of the shell. The other issue is one of the lugs is slightly bent. You can see these issues on the last pictures. Also, the rubber"boots" on the legs are torn. Other than these issues. The drum is good. Vintage wooden Veneer Sewing Box Re-purposed to hold Vintage Key Collection
I don't know where this was made- it was in the family for generations. It was re- purposed to hold an antique key and key ring collection. The little gold key in the lock does not actually lock it. The inside is lined with crushed purple velvet and the keys have been attatched with silicone glue so they can be removed if you wanted to use the box for something else. It is just a gorgeous box to look at. The burl veneer is so rich looking- I believe this was Victorian. A lovely display piece.I will ship free to USA and CANADA only. I am downsizing. This is a great piece for a key collector as well as a collector of vintage wooden boxes. The box measures: 13 1/4" X 9 1/4" X 5" The top lid curves down over the front and back. Hinges appear to be brass.

This is a Rare early Ansonia Beehive clock. The Label reads Ansonia Brass co. The cabinet is in Beautiful condition considering the clock is 165 years old! The bottom glass is a replacement not sure about the upper glass that may be original. The clock is not running right now It may be something like a simple adjustment I didn't want to look inside too much The original rare label is very fragile. When I turn the hands the clock gongs on the hour. It has a nice sound. Comes with pendulum& key. The hinge on the door has a small key that turns the hinge to close the door. The key is loose on the knob but still turns the hinge. Works well and sounds warm through my Pioneer receiver. Plays CD-Rs, which is extremely rare for a 1980's CDP. 1900-1950 King George Antique Dining Table W/ 6 Chairs Satin Wood Veneer
This Vintage Dining Set has been in my family about 80 years. It belonged to my grandparents. It comes with 6 chairs. The end chairs are arm chairs. While the remaining 4 chairs are not. I am told this is King George II and is a reproduction. The picture shows the table with a length of 70 1/2" That is without the addition of three leaves at 12" each, for a grand total of approximately 106 1/2" One leaf has an edge, while the other two leaves do not. The width of the table is 42" and the height is 34 1/4" The upholstery on the chairs are hand done with the Bargello method. My mother and I hand made the upholstery in the 70's. This Marantz 2215 is in like-new cosmetic condition and perfect operating condition. Pots were quiet but cleaned with Deoxit for good measure. Vellum paper was bleached white to restore the original blue hue of the radio dial. Sparkling clean inside and out. Serial number 16889. Production date stamp 1972 5 17. This was the little brother to the 2230. 2245, and 2270. This puts out 15(old school) watts per channel. No original feet included, but there are felt pads under the wood cabinet. Vintage Gibson Epiphone guitar *pearl inlay headstock veneer* project/repair
This is a vintage Gibson Epiphone guitar floral mother of pearl inlaid headstock veneer. I was told that the origin was a long gone Gibson Epiphone facility in New Berlin. New York. It measures 8 1/16"long, 4"wide and 1/16"thick. I lightly sanded the inlay area with 320 grit sandpaper to better expose the pearl inlays. The bluish appearing tint in the first photo is natural light from a window. The second photo displays the quality of the inlays and the wood grain but the item is actually black rather than brown. The backing appears to be thin pressed cardboard which was then at least partially covered with newspaper. A great Gibson/Epiphone conversation piece, or a real time saver for an authentic headstock repair or restoration. Ships to continental U.S.A. only. Bauhaus Display Cabinet Set - Mid Century Modern - Quartered Bamboo Veneer
This set of 3 cabinets has 2 display cases with lights and a middle cabinet that has solid doors on top and bottom and is also lighted on the inside. They are covered from head to toe in quartered bamboo. They have a light greenish color to them. And have a laminate finish. They have a great mid century look to them. These are extremely rare. I have yet to find another set like them anywhere. These are humongous and very heavy. I have a truck and can deliver, but it will take a few trips to do so, if you are within the metro area. All 3 cabinets are the same dimensions. These come with a total of 6 glass shelves and 3 wood shelves(with the quartered bamboo veneer on them) These came out of a very high-end luxury home. They are great for displaying china. Trophies, awards, or anything else of prominence in your life. There are a few nicks/scratches(mostly ... moreon the very bottoms and tops and a few on the sides) and some slightly discolored parts on the front. Really just some slight regular wear and tear on them. There are a couple of missing items. First is one of the glass doers is missing(the cabinet on the far right) I have the hardware for the door. So it really just needs a new pane of glass. Second, the two cabinets with the glass doors have two lights in each, but only the light on the left works in both. I bought new light bulbs this past weekend, because I thought they were burnt out, but that didn't seem to solve the problem. This incredibly well constructed bookcase was built for an era long ago. An era when people retired to a library. Outfitted with rich wood furniture and overstuffed reading chairs, lit by natural light. Now, I am not suggesting it is that old. It actually appears to have been custom constructed to those owners wishes, within the past decade or so. We removed this beautiful piece from a bay front 1930's Miami Beach home slated for demolition. While the grand home sadly succumbed to years of salt water attacks on the exterior, the owners spared no expense to keep the interior of this home and it's furnishings as a beautiful reminder of times gone by. Believe me, if I had a twelve foot wall in my home, this bookcase would have been installed there yesterday. So, instead, today is your day. Nice Rarest McDermott 1976 1979 B13 4 Ebony Point 2 Veneer Leather Wrap Pool Cue
This is a nice rare McDermott 1976-79 b13 4 spliced ebony points with 2 razor sharp veneer and mother of pearl inlays. 3/8-10 pin. Original leather wrap is excellent. Rolls straight together and apart. The shaft is a newer McDermott with black collar. Fits almost perfect, there is no original shaft unfortunately. Any marks shown are just dirt or smudges. Plays like a dream. Pretty sure the butt and points are ebony. Buyer can have new matching shafts made by McDermott for about 130ea. This is the rarest of rare and is in almost perfect condition. No case. This is for the serious collector if you know what this is you know it is worth an easy 1,000 with an original shaft so there a lot of room for the buyer to have one or two made and still have equity, seller does not pay to have shafts made. There are cracks in the lighter back round but that may be intentional to look like barn boards? There are aging marks that give this a nice patina. It is not signed or dated. Vtge German Wood Veneer One Piece Kitchen Hutch Adjustable Shelves Orig Key 1920
Offered is a 1920s-30s era. Wood& veneer kitchen hutch, from Germany. It is from Stuttgart, Germany area in SW Germany. I think it is oak wood. It comes with heavy. Beveled glass doors, which have a recessed area in them, for opening and closing. The glass is in very good condition, very thick with no breaks or chips. There are grooved areas in the wood, which hold the glass doors in place. They slide fine. Germany still makes fine glass, to this day. It is all one piece; upper shelves are adjustable. The lower shelving inside the lower area is not. That piece fits snugly. Is not loose and is in great shape. It measures about 72" tall& about 44 1/2" at its widest. depth is 18 6/16" The outer shelf area at the outer middle can hold items; that area is about 4 1/4' wide. One adjustable shelf has bowed a bit. Otherwise ... morethe shelves are in good condition. Upper shelves are about 13/16 of an inch thick. Lower shelf in bottom is less thick. But thick enough to hold items fine. The back is not pictured; however I can tell you that the back is in good shape. With no major flaws. Photos were taken with& without flash. The lower cabinet doors have wonderful. Locking features, with original brass hardware& functions fine. The upper left door locks in upward first, then the right door loc ks in with the original key. Its square. Wooden stop feature is still intact, stopping the right cabinet door where it should. There is dovetailing to these. This is a well made. Cabinet! Except for some minor damage to the veneer on the lower, left side, it is in very good shape& still very usable. There are some minor nicks here& there. Used. Well loved antique dresser survived the move from Boston to Virginia in 1989 and to college with me in 2006-2012. Requires some TLC and a new top drawer but it's a great piece for an antique collector.
