Used Grizzly 8" jointer cutterhead 4 knife head may fit jet powermatic shop fox
I recently changed the cutterhead in my Grizzly G0586 jointer to a grizzly indexable spiral head and this the cutterhead it replace. Its a four knife head and the blades that are in it now are the original blades that came in it and have never been out. It also has the pulleys. Bearings, bearing blocks, mounting bolts and I will include a new 4 piece blade set with it I bought but never installed. according to the grizzly site it should fit several other machine but that research is up to the bidder and there will be no return this item if it doesn't fit your machine. I only charge actual shipping charges and this item weighs about 21 pounds and will ship in a large priority box. I also have a new 15 inch cutterhead listed in another listing. Check out my! One pair of Davis and Wells shaper fences. The fences are in very good condition with no cracks or chips. There are a few casting imperfections that appear as dark spots on the photos but they are due to the factory casting and finishing process not wear or damage to the fences. Each individual fence measures 9-7/8" L x 2-1/8" W x 3-1/4" H. The distance between each slot is 3-13/16" center to center with each slot being 1-3/4" L and 7/16" W.

Powermatic 12" Commercial Industrial 86" Long Bed Jointer FS 305 Powermatic(Italian Made) 12" Jointer model FS 305. This machine is 3 Phase. Unit was removed from a local woodworking shop that was downsizing. The blades have some knicks in them but still feel sharp(see pictures) I do not have 3 Phase to run this machine to see how it sounds but it was in use at the local shop. This jointer has a long 86" bed and what I think is a 5 hp motor. The motor is made by Seimec and has a rating of 3.53 KW which converts roughly to almost 5 hp. The beds are in decent shape. Powermatic PM60 8" Jointer Planer
I'm selling my Powermatic PM60 8" Jointer. It runs very well. It has the original 3 phase 3/4hp motor. 3/4 horse may not sound like much but it has never left me wanting more and 1hp convertors are much cheaper. It has very impressive electricals and a magnetic switch. I can run it for you under power. The only two issues are that it is missing the lock down knobs for the fence and the rear door. The handwheel on the fence works in place of the original lock down knob is not ideal but works fine. I do have the belt guard even though it's not shown in the pictures. Paint job isn't the best but it is plug and play as it sits. This is a good old heavy duty cast iron machine that weighs in close to 500 lbs. Local pick up only. Here is a set of 3 Powermatic jointer knives in good condition. These knives were discovered at a local estate sale and are contained within their own custom wooden box. These knives are stamped Powermatic Made in USA and could use a sharpening. There are a few dings and nicks but nothing too deep; they should clean up nicely. The knives are 6 inches long and measure 9/16" wide consistently along their length. Having multiple sets of knives are a must if you don't want to stop working while you have a set out for sharpening. I like to have at least three sets in case I hit a nail or something that damages a set while the others are out for service. Keeps me cutting like I should be. I bought this PM-50 from the estate of local legend Terry Hansen. I was going to restore it and use it in my shop. However I'm so backlogged with other projects that my voice of reason(my wife) pointed out that I already have another PM jointer, and the shop is getting crowded(again) Point taken. She's right, and I'm going to lighten my work load. This machine probably ran daily in Terry's shop. He was extremely prolific, creating thousands of pieces of art. Some of his pieces are owned by the Bush family, and many other celeb's. If you google"terry hansen woodworking" you'll see links to his website. There are youtube videos and many pics out there on google images, too. Even a couple of his decorative boxes are for sale right here on ebay. A look-up of serial number 1570 on the vintagemachinery.org website ... moreindicates that this is a VERY EARLY PRODUCTION machine, therefore a great candidate for restoration. Made in the great state of Tennessee, not in Taiwan, like the newer ones. There is a pdf of the original manual there as well. The motor runs great, and on 110V. Powermatic 6" Jointer Powermatic jointer. 6" knives. Model 053. Cuts fine. But there is a nick in the knives. That is easily fixed by moving one knife over a hair. There is a stain on the cast iron top from a table leg that had a glue line that needed a little more time to dry. It does not affect the function in any way. It was cleaned off. But left a stain. Table surface is nice and smooth. Work pieces slide across with no problem. It is a little saw-dusty. But that happens to tools when you use them. I don't have the original manual. I have a printout of one I found online. It has a dust chute adapter on the side for connecting to a dust collector. Contact me if you would like to come see it in person before the auction ends.
