Clyde E. Key Vintage Antique Glutton Dibbler Cedar Wood Lure Never Used LOOK!!!
This is a Vintage Clyde E. Key Wooden Lure c.1950. These particular lures were called Glutton Dibblers and this is the White style and made out of cedar wood. I inherited a lure collection when my father in-law passed away and this was part of it. Clyde Key was from Arkadelphia AR. And this is where my father in-law lived. I know he obtained this lure when it was New years ago and it was Never used! It comes with original box and instruction sheet! There are a couple of the seams at one end of the box that are seperating some due to age and storage. The body of the lure looks Great still with high shine. Wood Veneer: Woven Graphic in Seafoam Green & Mauve
For auction is a lot of man-made veneer. The veneer is pale greyish-seafoam green woven with mauve to created a diagonal check pattern. Have no way to measure the thickness. But it is heavier than 1/42" thick raw veneer. This is an odd lot left from a job several years ago. There are two full sheets at 24" x 96+" There is one sheet at 24" x 60" and many small cut offs. Sheets have repairable splits. We are happy to combine shipping on multiple auctions. Buyer pays actuall shipping cost which will probably be around $25. Wormy Chestnut ? 59+ Board Feet - 1" Thick lot
This material has been stored in my garage since 1993 when I closed my fathers one man cabinet shop after his passing. I have no idea how long he had it before that or where he got it but he opened his shop in 1960. I believe it is wormy chestnut although I am not sure. I don't see any nail holes in it but from what I have read I assume it would most likely be reclaimed. I would be happy to answer questions and provide more detailed photos upon request. Redwood (?) THICK veneer 3 1/2" wide X 1',2',3' & 4" lenghts
This veneer is ruff cut. Meaning the surface is ruff and not smooth. Sanding will take care of this problem. It is also VERY thick. For veneer and measures 1/16" thick. I am cleaning out my shop of things I do not use. I remember the job I bought this for over 30 years ago. This I THINK is redwood, but I am not sure. I have a close up picture of it. Whatever it is that is what your getting. It is 3 1.2 inches wide and you are getting 14 pieced 24 inches long. 6 pieces 12 inches long. 4 pieces 48 inches long and 6 pieces 36 inches long.
