Massive Oakley oscillating edge sander. This machine has two sides. It currently only has a platten on one. It is in working order and I can send you a movie of it in operation. One side tilts and is 8" wide x 37" long the other is fixed and is 5" wide x 28" long. The end table tilts and is 28" wide x 12" deep. All tables are manually adjustable in height. The main motor is a 5 HP three phase balder motor. The oscillating motor looks to be about 1/3 H and an older motor but still running fine-it could use a new belt though. There is also another tag on the sander with the name Fumagalli R on it. An internet search does not show this name as being a woodworking machinery manufacturer. Possibly a distributor? This sander is used. But is in good operating condition. Body and moving parts show normal wear, scratches etc. from use. Both tables can be raised up or down and both will tilt. This sander is missing the"end" table commonly seen around the tail pulley for sanding radius. 6" x 108" Progress Edge Sander
Progress 6" x 108" Edge Sander. This is a Professional/Industrial edge sander that came out of a working shop. Very little time on it over the last 5 years since I bought it used. It works perfectly and has many more years of use. The sander is wired for 208V 3 phase and is currently working in my shop. It's currently running on a 50 amp breaker. I have 11 new 80 grit belts plus the barely used one on there. Belts generally list for between $25 and $50 each so there's at least $275 to $550 in belts alone. This machine is VERY heavy and will need at least 2-3 more people to load it on a truck since I do not have a lift here. Local pick up only. I can not ship. Sold AS IS

Re-engineered Vintage Sears / Dunlap bench-top belt/combo / edge sander 4" x 36"
Here is an original vintage(50's-60's? cast iron Sears Dunlap bench-top 4" x 36" belt sander in restored and re-engineered condition. You wont soon find another vintage sander quite like this one. These sanders were incredibly well made when compared to modern import edge sanders/combo sanders. This thing is solid cast-iron is just built like a tank. Just add an electric motor and connect to the sander's 2" drive pulley using a 1/2" v-belt and you've got a wood eating machine. I used this machine professionally in the manufacture of my traditional wood and composite archery bows. I just got a larger commercial machine as my needs outgrew it's compact size. I used this machine for over two years and absolutely loved it during that time. This model of sander had one major design flaw. The original tracking ... moredrum rotated on a fixed axel which pivoted on the protruding threaded rods to provide manual belt tracking. The axel was only secured to the threaded rods by thin bent steel loops that were cheaply riveted on. It was the only flimsy part in the machine. I also didn't like that when the sleeve bearings(that were mounted internally in the tracking drum hub) began to wear. The tracking drum took on a shake and wobble as the hub that held the bearings was poorly designed and very narrow. I re-engineered the tracking drum by scrapping the original front drum and replaced it with another rear drum from an identical sander. Now the front drum had a fixed axel and no moving parts like the rear. Then I machined two aluminum blocks to ride on the threaded rods and also hold the same variety sintered bronze sleeve bearings as the rear drum assembly. By doing this I turned this machine from a descent bench-top hobby sander, into a machine that is rugged enough for light commercial use. You can see the new axel/sleeve bearing system in the photos. I replaced the tracking drum with new sleeve bearings for this auction. This can be done any time easily with basic hand tools for about
