Unusually for a 1950s British built radio. This model covers The entire VHF waveband 88-108 Powers up and receiving VHF may need a MW/LW Aerial as not picking much on these stations. ABSOLUTELY STUNNING SOLID & VENEER QUARTERSAWN OAK CARVED PIANO BOARD PEDIMENT
Up for bid is. As the title states, an"Absolutely Stunning" antique carved quartersawn oak pediment. Standing just about 17-1/2" high x just under 54" wide and maybe 3/4 to 7/8" thick, this pediment is divided into three panels. Each panel is heavily carved with oak leaves and acorns. There are a few minor places, pointed out on the left panel where some of the carving has chipped off, but these places are minor and do not take away from the beauty of this pediment as a whole. Believed to be from a piano or pump organ, possibly dating back to the late 19th century, this panel has survived a lot of years. There is also some minor veneer pulled away from the foundation of wood, probably oak, underneath, as pointed out in the 3rd pic, but I believe this could be easily fixed with a little hide glue, with a wax paper ... morecover and some heavy weight like a few books laid on top to push it back down, while the glue drys. There is also one piece of veneer, seen in the last pic which has come off and will be included so that if you, as the winning bidder, deem it necessary, can re-glue it as well. The pediment does have it's original finish though aged quite a bit, It could easily be cleaned to bring out more of it's stunning quartersawn grain patterns. Shipping and insurance will be close to $45.00, due to size alone, except to Hawaii, Alaska and all international destinations, where I will ship to, however, costs tend to be a bit higher. Vintage Restored Pioneer PL-518 Direct Drive Stereo Turntable This auction is for a restored Pioneer PL-518 direct drive auto return turntable. This turntable is a manual start direct drive table with strobe. Automatic return and shut off. Has the 33 and 45 speed selection knob, arm elevation lever, anti skate control and counter weight. There was a lot of restoration work put into this classic turntable. It is in fantastic condition and fully tested with all functions working great. The turntable was taken apart and cleaned. The gray vinyl covering was removed and a real red oak wood veneer was applied and finished with two coats of Tungsten wood oil. The head shell and stylus were aligned, platter speed and tone arm tracking adjusted. The finished table looks incredible. Features include: Original Pioneer head shell with an Ortofon FF15E ... moreCartridge and Stylus. The platter has been polished. The dust cover has been polished clear with no exposed cracks or chips. There was a minor crack near the hinge and that was repaired and the oak veneer was applied over both sides the back dust cover panel. It turned out great and really adds to the cover. The original cracked feet were removed and brand new adjustable height cushioned feet installed. Comes with the 45 record adapter. Also comes with the Pioneer PL-518 Operations Manual. Art Deco Wind-up Mantle Clock w Chime - Marled Wood Veneer - Chrome feet
Art Deco mantle clock is in excellent physical condition. But it does not work. I took it to a clock repairman. And he said that the mechanism probably just needs to be cleaned to get back to working order. There is a key to wind it up in front and a small screw is taped to bottom of the inside. I don't know what the screw goes to. Finish is beautiful and nearly flawless but for two slight greenish spots on top. As shown in pictures and some slight crazing in some parts of finish, though that is natural with aged wood. I can't find a name on it anywhere. But it is definitely Art Deco style. Very nice sounding. 88-key, used digital piano, about 10 years old. Has three sounds to choose from: piano, organ, and harpsichord. Has headphone jac(which, when plugged in, silences the speakers) volume control, 5-pin L& R midi-out jacks. Also has fine-tuning knob and Phono in and out jacks, each L&R. In picture you can see the only flaw: an area on the right front where some of the veneer has pulled away and a small corner broken off. I suggest some glue and wood-crayon. It can be disassembled, separating the keyboard from the stand and breaking down the stand for transit. No bench. For local pick-up only, by buyer, to remove and load, either as is or disassembled. No shipping unless buyer covers crating and cost. It's a very nice instrument.

Puresound Blaster series snare wires along with Evans Hazy 300 snare side and Evans Reverse Dot Batter(around 2 months usage) heads allow this particular drum for use in all musical styles and dynamics.
