Very nice switch plate cover in original packaging from Shurwood. Of the Elliott Bay Lumber Company in Seattle. Circa 1940s-1950s. This aluminum plate was never used. The package only has two of the screws, but you can use any other screws.

Beautiful Fine furniture Wardrobe armoire 1954 Walnut Veneer Fronts Sides
Beautiful veneer front wardrobe armoire maker is Fine furniture stamped 1954. Dimensions are 73" height x 48 1/4" width x 20 3/4" depth approximate weight 125-150 pounds. All veneer on front is intact with a great glossy finish. Doors do lock and comes with key. Very small imperfections. On the top left of the piece looks like a piece of veneer is gone but it's at the very top and can easily be colored. Minimal small scratches one being on front but again can be covered. All in all this is a gorgeous piece. Shipping will have to be freight arranged by buyer. I will help all I can. I do have a packing store who can pack an box at buyers expense. You are bidding on one Stanley Number 12 wood veneer scraper as pictured. It is marked"No 12" on the base. And"STANLEY RULE& LEVEL CO NEW BRITAIN CONN USA" on the brass nut that holds the blade in its holder. The iron or blade is marked"STANLEY NEW BRITAIN CONN USA" in the V shaped logo. And someone has filed little round grooves in the end of the blade to try to turn it into a toothed blade at some time in the past. It measures about 2-7/8' wide by about 3-1/16" tall. With the two sharp ends sharpened in a bit of an arc. Condition of the plane. Not including the blade, is good to very good. The sole has a small bit of very light pitting. The rosewood handle has a few minor dings and scratches, and is a very dark and showy piece of rosewood. The brass nuts have been cleaned by a previous owner, a ... morebit overcleaned to my tastes. There are no cracks or chips or chunks missing from any of the castings, and everything operates properly. The previous owner has coated it in some sort of oil or grease to keep it from rusting, and it will want a cleaning. Condition of the blade is poor to fair. With lots of surface rust and lots of pitting, and of course the modifications to one end. And it is barely long enough to be held by the thumbscrew on top. You will want to replace the blade. Vintage Austrian Burl Wood Veneer Humidor Or Jewelry Box
This is a great-looking. High quality vintage Austrian burl wood veneer humidor or jewelry box. It has a very elegant and refined look. I'm sensing it's from the 1940s or 1950s. It measures 11 3/4 inches wide(29.85 cm) by 5 5/8 inches deep(14.29 cm) by 3 inches tall(7.62 cm) It's engraved on the bottom MADE IN AUSTRIA. The interior is probably cedar. Which leads me to think it may have been a humidor. I believe the small detail on the front of the lid is made of bronze. Which would coincide with it being from Austria. The four round feet are made of a lighter colored wood. It has some tiny dings along the edges and on the veneer. With the most noticeable one in the bottom right front(please see photo) The rest are much smaller. It has developed a beautiful. Rich colored old patina. Quality unit. Made in Japan. I bought this back in 1990, didn't get much play time, spent most of it's life in storage. Several years ago I took it out and tried to play a tape, but I recall it would not play. I had an electronics repair shop take a look and they said the transport belt or belts needed replaced due to to age. I no longer have any tapes and I have no interest in having it fixed so I'm selling'as is' It powers up and the tape door opens. Cosmetically, it looks very nice, only thing worth noting are some surface rubs and scratches on top of the player from component stacking. The front and back look great, I'd give them a 9 out 10 on looks and the wood veneer side panels are very nice also, just a few small blemishes here and there, but no broken or missing parts. Antique burl wood veneer lap desk possibly a presentation piece. Needs some TLC. Measures 12-3/4" x 9" x 5.5" Inside writing area is a blue velvet which is torn where the 2 boards meet/folds. There is a brass inlaid medallion with 3 initials"FROM" and another set of 3 initials. There is cracking. Splitting and some raised areas on the wood veneer. There are 2 nails used as pins to hold the hinge together. Really quite a shame it's in this condition, but with some patience and dedication, it could be restored. Cheif Two Strike Brule Lakota Watercolor Portrait on Wood Veneer
This is a portrait of the Brule Lakota Chief Two Strike(1831-1915) I'm not sure how to describe this. It is painted on wood veneer and may be watercolor or possibly chalk. The image measures approx. 13 x 11 inches. It came in a very crude. Old looking frame, but I'm not sure if this was made to"look old" or it is what it was in originally. The frame measures 18 x 15 inches. If the buyer does not want the frame it will lower the postage cost. Ogee-type turn of 18th c. mahogany veneer mirror
This is a beautiful mirror from the late 1700s-early 1800s. I've actually had it on one of my walls for the past few years. And am only letting it go because I'm replacing it with an actual ogee mirror that's 3 times its size. It has a gorgeous, warm, lustrous mahogany frame with great patina. At one time. It would have had some sort of crest at the top, which is now gone, revealing the cross-shaped mounting holes where it had been. In place, the holes aren't noticeable. The same applies to the strange scratches that I just noticed on the edge of one of the sides(in photo) which could probably be largely smoothed over w/ some paste wax(I hate to suggest such things, but it's true) It's only a stretch of a couple inches on one side close to the corner. I took a last photo with my phone to show that. As with all such ... moremirrors, the silver isn't perfect anymore. The dark areas in that photos are dark areas that don't reflect an image as well. That funny triangle in the corner is a reflection of something, though. The mirror worked well enough for me. but I'll suffer for fashion(and the integrity of a 200-year-old mirror) You won't find one of these every day. Help me find it a good home. Vintage Marantz 2265 Stereo Receiver Works walnut veneer
This is a nice vintage Receiver. Made by Marantz. Model 2265 It is in good condition and shows some wear. I tested both speaker 1 and 2 systems and they seem to work fine. The station selector knob works nice and smooth. Volume and balance work fine. I plugged in a headset and that worked fine. When you change the Selector knob it lights up the correct lights like AM FM Phono Aux Tape and such. The two meters work and you can see them move as you select a station. The left meter lights up brighter than the left one. The radio station numbers light up but on the far right side it looks like one of the lights( LEDs? is not working. The station selector bar light works. One of the back legs is missing underneath but I should be able to fine a replacement for it. It has a nice sturdy plug-in cord and it is long. The front has a few scratches ... moreand there are some scratches on the top veneer. I did not test main out. Tape out and dubbing. I can not guarantee it but I think it should work just fine. There is no damage to the case. It looks like it was well taked care of. Nice walnut veneer. A classic Receiver. Wonderful charm and character. Shipping anywhere to the USA is fixed at $62.0US and to Canada at $52.00 US that way you already know your shipping costs ahead of time with no surprises and no extra costs. This headstock veneer measures about 4 x 8 inches and about 1/16 inch thick. The inlays are simulated pearl on the front and white on the back. So they will probably can only be sanded lightly. I acquired this many years ago from Duke Kramer when he was selling much of the old stock he purchased after Gretsch closed. This veneer was used on all of the models I listed at one time during their existence, but as far as the Nashville named 6120s it would only be on the earliest ones and then possibly covered by the name plate on the headstock. Extraordinary HORN VENEER BRASS PAISLEY & PEARL INLAY w/Crushed Shell Background
WOW! Does this button have it all? It is a c. 1850-1900 horn veneer inlay button. On the top you see three hand-chased brass paisley forms and three hand-chased bars. These brass forms surround a tiny five petal floral iridescent pearl center. Between each brass form are six tiny diamond shaped pearl insets precisely placed to form another pattern. As if this were not enough. At the top of each bar are three tiny perfectly round iridescent pearl disks. All of this on a bed of dyed and crushed shell. The workmanship is extraordinary. Obviously all by a very steady hand. In the light the button glitters and glows with every turn. Small but mighty! The button measures 3/4 of an inch in diameter. Button in very fine condition.
